Geometiles(Pentagon/Triangle) - 3D Building Set for Learning Math, Includes Online Activity Books,32-pc, Made in USA (Pentagon/Triangle)

My grandkids have enjoyed building with these: a pyramid, tetrahedron, rectangular solid. Unfortunately the different triangles are not compatible. This set has only 30 pieces, so you are somewhat limited.

Our Geometiles just arrived!! Yay!Just spent the past hour sitting on the floor with my daughter making all sorts of shapes, vessels and creative constructions. The satisfying "snap" as we put each beautifully designed piece together was definitely my favorite part. My daughter is 12 and I can hear her in the next room, still, snapping away. The instructions gave us some great ideas, but then we just went a bit crazy creating all sorts of amazing constructs.But aside from the fun "building" aspect of this product, I think of the Math applications that we could have physically interpreted with these in beginning Geometry in 3rd and 4th grade. This product would have been SO helpful.Thank-you Imathgination for creating such a fun and powerful learning tool on the market. Every school in San Diego should have sets of these!

These tiles are very easy to snap together and don't come apart easily like some other tiles! Very colorful, fun to play with!! My kids, 5 and 10, spend hours playing with them! Yes! A boy and a girl, 5 years apart having fun together with these tiles! My daughter even makes small houses for her dolls and cute unexpected bassinets for her teddy bear (pictured). We all love these tiles!!!

I’ve always been fascinated with shapes, whether it be cars, art, architecture, or just building with Legos. Geometiles gives me a new way to “doodle” with shapes. I’ve enjoyed creating on my own and tackling the challenges offered in the instructions and by registering on the webpage. I’m considering Geometiles as a gift for teachers I know and some big kids who enjoy “brain teasers.” Maybe a larger set for me too!
