I am truly upset; I loved this brush! But I can't afford to waste money on a brush that lasts so little time. I chose this brush for detangling my long (shoulder-blade), fine but thick hair when it is wet after shampooing. I'm amazed by how well it works. It pulls through gently, without tugging or tearing wet hair. The spiral design seems to be what really does the trick; it gives with motion, and so there is no sensation of pulling. The brush is easy to hold, too--I've had other wet-hair brushes that slipped out of my hand. I like it well enough that I'm considering purchasing a second brush to use in the morning on sleep-tangled hair.
