I don't know why I have gone magnetic for my car phone holder before now! It works like a dream and it is small enough that it is NOT cumbersome. No complaints thus far. I haven't tried to take it off my dash yet, so I cannot speak to whether or not it leaves a mark behind or not nor can I speak to whether or not it comes off easily. For now, I am quite happy with the product. Even with my phone case on my phone (and I use a Speck phone case), the magnetic quality is still strong. Also, I namely bought this holder because my last holder wouldn't support the weight of my phone once I upgraded from an iPhone 5s to an iPhone 6s. With this phone holder however, the weight of my phone is no longer an issue as the magnetic quality is powerful enough to support its weight.Once again, I am very pleased! I definitely recommend!

Everything it is supposed to be. Love it. Really good magnetic hold. It did pop off my dash once but I'll chalk it up to the 100 degree weather we were having.

While it lasted it was nice and it worked. Very disappointed with this item. The item is held together with sticky tape. In time, the heat inside my car caused the tape to melt and the entire thing fell apart. It is worthless now. The item lasted only a few months. I would not recommend this product. Don't waste your money.

The magnet in the base is weak, the mounting pads rarely stick to the surfaces (backs of phones, tablets) that you're trying to get them to stick to.Wouldn't buy this again. Definitely not worth the money as the base unit only includes a very flimsy double-sided tape to hold it to your dash, or wherever you want to mount it.Due to the junk tape used on the base station, it wasn't strong enough to hold both the base, and the magnetic mount to the ball to keep my phone on the dash. Phone is not heavy - Galaxy S7 Edge.

My husband drives for Uber. This is perfect for him. He sticks his tablet to the dash and off he goes. It did fall off the dash and we had to super glue it back on...

Hold my phone perfectly without any issues no matter how rough the ride is. Am looking to buy another one for my mom and my hubby..

If you are an uber driver this is a must. I have been using it for some time now and it has a very snug secure fit. although the adhesive is slowly starting unstick. It does come with additional adhesive pads which can be used to get back to a perfect fit.

Magnet is fairly strong but your phone will fall off onto to the floor if you hit a pothole or on rough roads. User cannot tap on phone screen without phone falling off either. I followed manufacturer’s mounting instructions, but adhesive pads came off after a few months and rendered it useless.
