Anchor Hocking Heritage Hill 1 Gallon Glass Jar with Lid, Set of 2

I’m in love with this jar! It’s big, heavy and beautiful! I recently started making my own laundry detergent and I wanted a jar that was big and durable enough to hold it. This glass jar is absolutely perfect for it. I have roughly 15 pounds of detergent being stored in it. The jar came in packaged very tightly secured in plastic to prevent it breaking in the box during shipping. I plan on expanding my collection of jar storage jars into my kitchen with my baking supplies soon. This jar was around $30 and if it lasts forever, it was definitely worth the purchase.

These were perfect for what I needed. I'm happy with my decision to go with clear glass, which is beautifully made and has a classy, nostalgic look. I used mine for our dog snacks, which has transformed our coffee/drink counter into a little dog snack bar. I love that I can see inside the jars, how the glass catches the light, and that you can still see the backsplash through them. They don't make the counters look cluttered or crowded. A gasket would be nice, but I knew these didn't have one when I made my decision, so that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. Overall, I'm very happy with these canisters and would absolutely buy them again!

I bought these to replace some older ones that had a terrible plastic smell to them, and that I had been using to hold flour and sugar. They are well made and very attractive. My only "complaint" is that the lids fit loose an rattle around a bit. Not enough to return them.

These jars are perfect for a variety of uses. They seem very durable made with thick glass. Lid fits secure, but is not sealed. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and ordered more.

Great price for the set of two, speedy to arrive, good quality product (the glass is neither too thick nor to thin/brittle) and product came true to description and image. Both the jars and the lid are solid glass. No labels to peel off which was nice. The lid fits but note that it isn't air tight, so if you’re using these for w terrarium you may need to line the top with plastic wrap to make it air tight.

I chose the glass jars with lids so I could have a jar large enough for making sour dough bread. It's the perfect size and large enough that I don't have to worry about the dough running out of the container.
