How many refills can you get out of one canister?

Each tire will require at least one C02 canister. One canister for Road bikes to be fully inflated at 80+PSI . One for mountain bike tires to be inflated to 40psi. More than one if you have a fat tire bike. See chart on the listing.

How does this work with Schrader valves? There's nothing to push in the valve pin to open the valve.

Try to turn the valve's top counter-clockwise to open up and inflate. Over-tightened Schrader valves just do not inflate, period. Make sure it is the TOP of the valve and not the valve stem, or the tire will just deflate.
