He was grinding something and a shard of metal hit his eye from underneath the old glasses. These ones have the seal around it closing the space between the lens and his face (per pictures attached) so they do what we wanted - prevent shards from getting in from open spaces. He also says they feel comfortable while wearing them.Update: these lasted him about 2 years before getting too scratched up/starting to fog, and he uses them often for work. Just ordered a replacement! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive *by M***A on Reviewed in Canada on 9 November 2020* I am picky about eyes protection, and these goggles are a great bang for the buck! Quality all the way, and seem to be good at the protection promise - given that they arrived without a single scratch, despite the packaging being merely a thin plastic bag!Out of the box the fit of the frame was not greatest, but once temples were removed and replaced by elastic band - fit was not a problem anymore! Snug and comfortable, without fogging. Very good. Definitely seem to be a keeper. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sellstrom - 70001AZ Polycarbonate Sealed Safety Glasses/Protective Eyewear, Anti-Fog Coating, Detachable Soft Co-Molded Temples, U.S. Military Ballistic Rated, Yellow & Black with Smoke Tint, S70001 - Pyramex Safety Highlander XP Eyewear, Frame/Indoor-Outdoor Mirror Anti-Fog Lens - DEWALT DPG82-11 Concealer Clear Anti-Fog Dual Mold Safety Goggle, Clear Lens, 1 Pair --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/276261559-sellstrom-70001az-polycarbonate-sealed-safety-glasses-protective-eyewear-anti-fog](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/276261559-sellstrom-70001az-polycarbonate-sealed-safety-glasses-protective-eyewear-anti-fog) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
