Staple resource for working with teens!
Just got this book a few days ago and dove right in. I currently work with teens in an IOP setting and I run yoga groups with them, and have found what I’ve read so applicable and helpful. Even if you don’t teach yoga but work with teens in some capacity, buy this book. It will be a staple resource for me.

A must have resource for those providing yoga for teens
This book is highly recommended for those delivering yoga for teens. Charlotta covers all aspects of yoga, not just asana, when discussing the evidence base for how and why yoga is useful for the 21st century teen. Her style of writing is very accessible as she encourages the reader to reflect on their own experiences of being a teen, consider their knowledge of teens and the challenges they face as well as describing asanas, breathing, relaxation and meditation practices that are known to provide holistic health and healing. The book is extremely well researched and references are made to recent research from around the world.Charlotta shows that the ancient yoga text describing the art of living, based on the science of living is still relevant for young people today.A truly inspirational read.

Clear, informative, inspiring
Parents, teachers and everyone working with young people will wish this book had been written a long time ago. A timely contribution to our understanding of what adolescence is really like and what we can do to help guide and support this creative, inspiring and challenging phase of development. A book that will make yoga teachers want to start a teen class and school teachers want to explore the contribution yoga can make to their work. The book is a clear introduction to yoga in its widest sense with a deep and loving appreciation of what it is to be a teenager. Netia Mayman, co-founder of Yoga in Schools
