Where can i get it filled? I have heard the welding supply stores near me will not fill them unless it is bought from them?

My local welding supply would fill any tank as long as they carry the size (for exchange). Thus they bought this particular unit back from me and then sold me a larger size that they actually carry. I’d recommend confirming prices and sizes with them first.

Does this cylinder have the dot stamp that they look for on the tank when they fill it or does it need to be certified?

Call an air gas supplier... If you ever see a truck driving down the highway with a bunch of gas bottles on the back, you know there's one close by. DOT and ISO are totally different... You need the DOT stamp if you want it for racing. This bottle is made for welding! Not racing!
