Very good tank at a great price
Very good product. The filler I use said that they do not fill Chinese cylinders, that is not exactly true. If all the info stamped on the tank is in a single line they won't fill it. If the data is on three lines (in my case) it is good to fill; my tank was built in China. As to the size: research indicates that a tank this size is good for about one hour of arc time. If you use it for home or car repairs the tank should last a long time, the rule of thumb is that a tank lasts one hour for every 20 cu ft of tank capacity. I contacted the vendor and they were very helpful and courteous. These guys got it out fast. I ordered the tank on a weekend and the following Monday at about noon it was out the door, good job guys. My only (joking) issue is the ugly color but I think that tanks may be color coded for legal reasons. the color pictured is very close to, if not exactly the same as the tank,

I had to problem exchanging it for a prefilled Nitrogen tank due to its DOT markings.
While I was told that it is technically a Co2 tank I had to problem exchanging it for a prefilled Nitrogen tank due to its DOT markings. Now when the tank I have is empty, I bring it back to my local supplier and exchange it for one ready to go, no waiting. 38 bucks for the gas. Yea sure I could have waited for this tank to be sent out and and filled then picked it up at a later date but why.

Great tank for Argon, CO2 or Nitrogen! Excellent price for the quality.
Great Value for the money, A bit heavy for the volume , but solid in construction. Makes a great portable tank for argon lift Tig weldering on the fly. Would completely recommend. It came pressure tested and hydro tested as well, but I checked it to be sure at 5000p.s.i and -580CFM & was pleased to see it held up just fine for both 24 hour pressure tests. Don't hesitate if you need a small repairs tank or are new to welding. Only downside was no regulator included, but I picked up a spare 580 to 320. Can't beat the price for less than 90$. Kudos!

If you want to refill it, it will be a bottle exchange
It took me a while modify the regulator so I could use it for my airbrush and then a bit longer to learn how to manage the bottle, but once I figured it out, it works really well! As I mentioned in the headline, don't expect to keep the original bottle because when I took it in for a refill, I got a different bottle. This is not a problem because it is the same size and pressure. A refill cost $27 + tax in Minnesota and that includes the exchange bottle. For my needs it worked out great and was well worth the purchase.

Small But Good.
I've had this for over a month. Had it filled and it, as should be expected, holds the gas (C25) and has not leaked. It's definitely a small cylinder and I will be upgrading to a larger cylinder at some point. But, for now, it's suiting my needs just fine. I'm using it with a Hobart Handler 140. If you're doing small, weekend projects from time to time this should be adequate. I'm not sure about other suppliers, but AirGas will not exchange since it wasn't purchased from them. Not a problem. It's just their policy and that's the way it is. You have to drop it off and wait for it to come back filled, which can take a week or two since the supplier in town doesn't fill them at that location. It cost me about $25 to fill, which is a bit pricey from some other comparisons I've seen, but that's on AirGas, not on the seller of this tank.

the guy gave me a ration of crap because it did not have some indicator letting him ...
I am new to buying argon so forgive me if I get things wrong, but the picture and description indicate that you are getting a new tank, but what arrived was certainly not new. Also, when I went to get it filled up, the guy gave me a ration of crap because it did not have some indicator letting him know what gas was already inside as they only swap tanks, they don't refill. Since I don't know any of this I was caught out and sheepish because I didn't know what he was talking about. Ultimately everything is OK, but it was not easy for somebody who does not know anything.
