Love this lead! Very strong & looks absolutely fantastic.

When we take her for walks we get comments about her golden leash. We have been using it for 6 weeks. It doesn’t show any signs of wear and tear. In the near freezing temperatures I can hear a little bit of squeaking where the leather strap meets the chain, but that’s because of the temperature. As a precaution, I have the strap around my wrist and I actually hold onto the top of the chain, to avoid risking the strap breaking. I chose a chain to walk with because it cannot be easily cut with a pair of scissors and then your dog is stolen. The golden color is a plus. I recommend this item, but considering the price point please be cautious with the leather strap.

It's definitely good quality. It's heavy and durable. We have a large breed pup and it holds him without questioning if it will break. The only issue I had was when it came in, they have a weird plastic that protects the chain while in the mail. The plastic took me over an hour to get off. It wouldn't rip off and kept sticking to the metal. Trying to cut it off was difficult because it was made to hug tightly around the metal which was just a pain to remove. Otherwise I really like it and would buy again.
