I have been a major advocate of using gin gins for an upset stomach since I first tried them roughly 15 years ago. As someone who suffered from motion sickness as a kid, and daily nausea as an adult, I just don't know what I would do without these! These come in several small, individually sealed bags to keep the bulk fresher for even longer. While I initially like to leave them that way, I also have an obsessive need to remove most things from their original packaging. If not for esthetic purposes, it adds a layer of convenience when in need, and helps to mitigate additional crinkling sounds when my head may be spinning. All of this is to say that I have not experienced any lack of freshness as a result of my hasty retrieval. These are small candies and do not take up a whole lot of space. Stashed within easy reach on my desktop, as well as bedside drawer, to ensure I never run out. I carry loads of them in my purse, everywhere I go, and often find myself, or friends and loved ones, in need of their assistance. Some may find these candies to be rather spicy in any strength, even if they are fans of ginger. For example, my grandma had to spit hers out, as she simply couldn't handle it. For myself, the stronger the better. They come in a variety of textures and flavors, but I find I only enjoy the hard candy version, and the hard caramel one. The chewy version creates a texture issue for me and I can't even force myself to consume it, but to each their own. Try one for yourself!

I enjoy these ginger candies for the benefits of ginger. Ginger is a great anti-inflammatory. I carry these with me when I go for long runs or short runs or anytime I just want to enjoy the taste of ginger. Sometimes when I am doing an especially long run, I will switch from the candied gingers to peeling fresh ginger. I usually place the fresh ginger in my cheek and switch to the candies when I need the sugar.

I stumbled upon these at the grocery store but they only had one flavor. Then I found them on Amazon in lots of flavors I’m glad to know where I can find them now

The drops are sweet and gingery at first and a really strong ginger at the end. I like it but it’s probably too much for my kids. It does seem to help my carsickness though!

Came as expected, taste was good, packaging was good. All was good.

These are a great if you like ginger candies. The is an excellent value it is a bulk package. Compared to buying this in the grocery store, it is a great deal.

I purchased these because I love ginger or warm-spiced sweet foods, so I thought I could handle ginger-heat. I really don't like spicy-pepper-heat, but I thought these would be different. (WRONG!) I also thought they'd help with minor coughs, throat "tickles," and minor nausea. When you first pop one in your mouth, you experience a pleasant ginger flavor and only the mildest of heat. After about 45 seconds, the HEAT kicks in. It becomes almost intolerable. By the end of the piece of candy, my mouth was on fire and it stayed that way for 5-10 minutes. The only thing I can compare it to is sucking on a chili pepper, then eating something (temperature) hot so it burns and numbs your mouth for a bit. I'm hoping I can pass these off as holiday gifts for some friends who like spicy more than me. Maybe I can melt them into a cup of tea or something. The product is made well, packaged nicely (I appreciate the individual packaging), and the initial flavor was lovely. If they dialed-back the heat by about 25%, they'd be perfect. As they are, you lose the ginger flavor in the wrath of the heat. They do seem to have an effect on minor coughs, throat "tickles," and nausea. Although TBH I don't really know if it's because my mind was concentrating on the fire in my mouth, that I forgot about the mild symptoms. Shipping is speedy and the company seems to be good - I'll likely try a different flavor and cross my fingers for a better result.
