Kirk's Gentle Castile Soap - Soothing Aloe Vera, 3 Count

My first time using this soap and I don’t know why the skin on my face burns when I wash with this soap, it doesn’t leave the skin on my face irritated or red, it just gives a burning sensation until I wash it all off. I have a simple routine and don’t usually use separate skincare products for my face. So I like natural soaps that I can use all over but no other soap has done that before. I don’t have skin problems but my skin can be sensitive to certain ingredients which is why I purchased the sensitive version. Other than that I do like this soap. It lathers well, leaves me feeling clean, leaves clean fresh scent and has clean ingredients. My skin doesn’t feel dry afterwards. I would buy it again just won’t use on my face.

This is fantastic soap. I've been using it for ages now as both shampoo (no need for conditioner) and for my face and hands. I used to waste so much money on fancy shampoos and conditioners for my long hair. Other kinds of soap and shower gels almost always cause my skin to break out (and I'm a lady of mature years), too. With the news about all those horrible microbeads in shower gels and whatnot, there's all the more reason to use a soap such as this. No plastic container, either -- just paper.

I really like Kirk's Castile Aloe Vera Bar Soap and give it a full 5 stars. My favorite thing about it is that it lathers up incredibly well and contains absolutely no harsh chemicals. Because it is a true castile soap, it cleans very deeply, which means it may make your skin feel a bit drier than a standard body wash. However, this is an easy fix—you can just add a good lotion or body oil to your post-shower regimen. If you are looking for a gentle, clean soap without the unnecessary additives, this is a fantastic choice. Pros: Lathers up very well, even with a small amount. Made with clean ingredients and no harsh chemicals. Very gentle and effective cleansing. Cons: Can leave skin feeling a little dry, but it is easily solved by following up with a good lotion.
