Try looking up "Abus 20/80 KA" instead of KD. KA means Keyed Alike. **Q: Are any heavy users having issues with the keys breaking or being difficult to use like one of the reviewers describes?** A: It is easy to put key in upside down it looks similar on both sides I keep reversing it and trying to turn it gently till it opens. Worth it to have pick resistant lock, I had the cheapie lock that looks like this kind picked and had items stolen from storage. If you remember which side of key goes to top and which way to turn it, it opens quickly, but I dont open enough to do this. **Q: Will this lock fit a pod storage unit? requirements is no bigger than a 1/2 inch shackle. please respond if you have actual experience with pods. txs** A: I would recommend the Abus 20/70 (which is the same exact design, just smaller than the 20/80). The 20/70 is the typical size that you see on most storage units. Both the larger 20/80 and smaller 20/70 have the same shackle diameter of 7/16" of an inch. **Q: How thick is the shakle? i am using a cheap master lock with a 3/8" shackle, i can pick it in seconds!** A: The shackle, which is a hardened alloy, is the absolute maximum and still fit a POD rolldown door or a storage locker. I have two of these...one on each of the above and if we’re any larger you would not get it to fit. Although the packaging was shabby, it appears to be a genuine Abus diskus lock. It is a 6 disc lock, but of previous generation. The newer generation of diskus locks come with a floating disc cylinder which make them even more pick resistant. The only odd thing I found about the lock I got was the model number is inscribed as 20/70 on the lock when it is actually a 20/80 lock, as you can see from the photo.
