A must-have for DIYers and mechanics alikeI am thoroughly impressed with the MK808S. The upgraded Android operating system makes it much faster than older models. It easily reads and clears codes across all systems, and the active tests (bi-directional control) saved me hours of troubleshooting. Battery life is solid and the touchscreen is very responsive. Definitely worth a full 5 stars!

After using it for a while, I can confidently say it’s one of the best investments I’ve made for my car repairs and diagnostics.I was initially skeptical too, but once I got my hands on it, I was impressed. Since I purchased my autel mk808s bi directional scanner it has been wonderful and I've been able to do everything I need it to do being a 20 year automotive technician as well as power sports technician.I've been able to communicate with both power sports and automotive vehicles and see the parameters that I need to see as well as it has had all the different special functions that I've needed for things like electric parking brake or a sensor relearn calibration or brake bleeding mode so far it has been everything a professional scanner needs to be. The only downfall although not autells fault is with the power sports the manufacturers have not been mandated to all use the same connector for their diagnostic port like cars sold in the US have been since 1994 so you must purchase all the different adapters to 16pin OBD2 for all the power sports manufacturers and some manufacturers have more than for instance Yamaha has one for marine and one for off-road but this scanner does support all the different protocols needed to view the parameters for power sports you just need the adapters I have had no problems with connectivity nor have I had any problems with the units reliability it's super user friendly and I'm my honest opinion a great purchase for any mechanic or someone just looking to do some diy repairs on any late model vehicles requiring a bidirectional scanner to perform/complete specific repairs
