Hello buddy I'm a boat builder but used these for my camper. I depends on the type of build material on the boat really, if its a flow coat on fibreglassake sure you key the surface with sanding paper otherwise the wax in the flow coat will inhibit adhesion and keep it out of any bilge water. The foil reflective material will help with heat reflection too.
