“Natural” Product Has Drying/Damaging Chemicals
After the Deva Curl scandal I’ve been on the lookout for natural hair care lines for my curls. This sadly didn’t live up to expectation. The shampoo left my hair too dry and stripped of all oils. My curls are now thin and crunchy. Also, the leave-in conditioning spray has dried out my hair. I checked the ingredients list and willow bark was one of the ingredients, which is used to make aspirin. I know aspirin is great for cleansing/clarifying the hair but not for moisture! In fact, aspirin is recommended for oily hair. The conditioner has phenoxyethanol in the ingredients which is toxic. Not sure what to do with these products now.

THE best!!
This product is THE absolute best! My hair is 4c and I cannot explain enough how much it has grown and helps my curls pop!! You can literally tell that there are only natural ingredients within this brand. My hair has grown tremendously in 2 weeks. I promise no one will be disappointed. Finally, a line of products that purely does what is need to give healthy hair. I will be purchasing the entire line. Truly recommend. ❤️

Great product!
My sister always had beautiful long curly hair but her hair suffered a big change from using DeVa Curl products. She decided to switch to a product that is based on natural ingredients and hoped to recover the shine and volume in her hair. She asked me to buy this for her and so far she seems happy with her hair. She said she likes the scent, how natural the products feel and how much difference she has noticed in her hair. I see hair hair is growing back and is recovering. I would recommend this product not only because it’s a good price but because it’s quality seems to do what is promised.

Mositurizes
Not too crazy about the smell, and it has to be used minimal(the leave in conditioner) or It will leave the hair stick.The nourishment that it provides for the hair is very good, the moisture it leaves in the hair is good.I feel that my hair is getting thick and feels moisturized. I will likely buy this product again.

These products are absolutely AMAZING. Its literally unbelievable. I have been suffering from sebhoraic dermatitis for years! I get dry itchy scalp that is at its worst in the colder months. I normally rely on a prescription Ketoconazole shampoo 2%, but even with that and use of prescription scalp creams, I still suffer. I washed my hair with this JBCO shampoo and conditioner and it was gone. Not reduced, not improved...gone. I've always heard of the healing properties of natural products and JBCO in particular, but this exceeded expectations. For the people whining about the smell - it's really not that bad, not overpowering, and definitely not something that stays with you post rinsing. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone.
