Type C Charging Cable, Segawoot 2 in 1 Micro USB Cable, Reversible Connector for Nintendo Switch and other Type C & Micro USB enabled Devices

I've been looking for one of these 2-in-1 usb-c / micro-usb cables for a while, especially one that was compliant with usb-c standards and not potentially damage my Nexus 5X. After a slog through Amazon, found these, and very happy to report they pass the CheckR app test. (The gold standard for USB-C compliance is for Benson Leung to test and review the product, but barring that, the CheckR is the next reliable way) These cables by Segawoot passes the test, and they also turn out to be a bit cheapter (10.99) than competitors, so even better.

Works great. Solid connection - LG V20 Quick Charge 3.0 supported - one cable for all my USB charged devices. USB spec compliant, with the proper resistor etc. However, the braided cover, while it does provide some protection, tends to get bunched up. The cable won't lay straight and develops little kinks around where the braid has shifted. This is probably a good choice for a desk, but not a great choice for a travel cable that will be rolled and unrolled.

This is great to have cable to not have to search for a cable when you need USB C-type and USB 3.0. USB C-type is great for connecting your phone to your charger or computer for data transfer while micro-usb is good for computer accessory devices or older phones to your charger. I really love the adapter being tethered to the cable. I have my phone (USB C-type) and my bluetooth mic/speaker for my car that uses microusb and with this cable I can charge both.

This cable works very well. The ability to do USB-C and Micro USB on the same cable saves on how many cables I have to carry. The cable itself is also very sturdy being braided but they only issue I have is that the USB-C adapter tends to fall out a lot. You need to make sure that while using the USB-C, be sure not to move it too much. I would say that a good improvement to the product would be to have two different ends to the cable, one Micro USB and one USB-C where only 1 could be used at a time.

These cables work on my Samsung note 7. Over the next three years as everything transitions to the USB-C standard this cable is a great dual purpose option. Although it's only USB 2.0 speed it does well with the fast charging on my phone. The only negative on this is how far the cable sticks out in the back. Guess that's the price you pay for something like this. Good cable. Just wish they made them in longer lengths.

Works great but the secondary connector comes loose too easily. Faulty design. I have two of these and am now not happy. Imagine thinking you're getting a charge overnight only to see a disconnected cable in the morning. Has happened to me multiple times now.

The product looks very well-built. I have a type C phone and a watch that requires micro-USB so this fits the bill. It prevents me from having to carry multiple cords. The mesh thread looks great and helps prevent tangles. I have used this for several months and have had no complaints. The cable seems high fidelity and there has been no degradation on the charging tip

I like everything about these chargers. First of all they came in a package of three. One for our cars and one in the house. These work for my husband's LG phone and my Samsung. I would purchase again.
