Small but mighty litter pan!
I was afraid the pan would be too small for our cat, but he uses it without any problems. It's working out great inside his playpen. The quality is good, it's easy to clean, we haven't noticed any leakage, and the walls are high enough that hardly any litter gets kicked out.

The kittens love having a purrr-fectly fresh powder room in which to answer nature’s call.
The Petmate Giant cat litter box works wonderfully. I have three of them and can’t imagine being satisfied with any smaller litter boxes. I have three six-month-old sibling kittens who really appreciate the extra depth of litter and the extra surface area. At times they provide support for each other in using the box and help each other cover their business; so the extra size (25.56 x 18.3 x 10.02 inches) is really wonderful.I’ve found that “Fresh Kitty Super Jumbo Litter Box Liners” (43” X 21” X 2.0 mil thick) fit my Petmate Giant cat litter boxes with enough liner left to fold well over the sides. I secure my cat litter box liner with “Coopay 12-inch Large Heavy Duty Rubber Bands” that easily fit around the box and liner and can be tucked up under the lip of the box so they’re up tight, out of sight, and in the groove. I replenish the litter as needed to keep four to five inches of litter in the box, and the cats may puncture the liners; but don’t shred them as other reviewers have reported.I have been trying two different types of litter lately, Arm & Hammer Lightweight Clump & Seal AbsorbX and Arm & Hammer Double Duty Clumping Litter. AbsorbX has the consistency of fine sand. Double Duty has a larger grit. They are each an excellent product, clumping and containing odor equally as well as the other. It is easier to pass the scoop through the AbsorbX litter twice a day; because it is a finer grit, and lighter. Over the past month I have found that there is more dust, more litter kicked out of the box, and more litter tracking with the AbsorbX, and that the cats seem to prefer using the Double Duty as that box now gets as much use as the two AbsorbX boxes combined. Each of my Petmate Giant cat litter boxes uses a little more than one box of either litter to reach a four-inch depth. One box of AbsorbX weighs 15 pounds. One box of Double Duty weighs 40 pounds. My routine for changing them out at the end of the month includes removing the rubber band that I use to secure the liner, pulling the liner’s drawstring tight while it’s still in the litter box; then sliding the box into a contractor bag and tipping it until the liner and any stray litter that may have leaked out through small punctures fall completely into the contractor bag. The weight difference in using the Double Duty will be an additional challenge; but seeing that cats’ preference, having less airborne dust, less litter on the floor, and seeing almost no tracking make that an acceptable tradeoff for me personally. With three kittens; I scoop all three boxes twice a day, and the kittens love having a purrr-fectly fresh powder room in which to answer nature’s call.Update: Now that they three little kittens are turning three years old, I have had to add a fourth litter box. I didn't have another appropriate location in the house for a litter box; so I just turned the one that had been getting the most use sideways and put the new one next to it a few inches away. It has worked out great over the last few months. The cats appreciate the extra freshness that this provides. They are still using the Arm & Hammer Double Duty and still very pleased with it. The boxes are still as good as new, and thankfully the cats only do their business in the boxes.

Great kitty litter boxes
Great value. Sticking has been minimal so less mess when scooping. I have two boxes that are scooped daily, use a litter box deodorizer so the smell has always been maintained. Has been so much faster with these boxes. Have a 20+ pounder and he fits nicely inside. No messes on the outside of box. If he hits the side of box when peeing it falls off easily when cleaning box.Looked at MANY boxes before I found this item. It has the raised sides, large size dimensions, no obstructions in bottom to hinder scooping and no leakage. I have had boxes in use for almost 2 months. No problem introducing the cats to the new boxes . Just sprinkled litter from old box on top of litter in new box. I highly recommend. Will definitely purchase more in future.

Perfect size litter box for our cat
It is what is says it is. I use it as a litter box for the cat. And, it works great. Not much else to say. Good plastic. Good design and shape. Perfect for a cat litter box.

Good size, will purchase again
Great size and works well. Holds litter in the container. I have two cats and have two of these. Only downfall with plastic is I think it holds a smell to it, I clean it with soap and water every other month to keep it not holding smells. Easy to clean, take it outside with hose.

Our cats prefer this Petmate Open Cat Litter Box, Extra Large Nonstick Litter Pan
When I was looking for a new litter box on Amazon, I found you can spend an absolute fortune on them, and many are way too small for a large cat, and you're just asking for problems if you buy a dinky one.We opted for the extra large version (looks like they call it jumbo now), and it was under ten bucks when we bought it. This is a nice big inexpensive litter box. We bought it for our second cat, who doesn't get on too well with our first cat. It's nice and sturdy, not brittle. Stays flat on the floor.Initially I used a lot of litter in the box, but that was a waste. Now I put a pile of litter on one side of the box, and the cats move it around, and enjoy. And it's easier to sift through. The litter stays in it for the most part, unlike the smaller one we have in a different room, for which we needed one of those litter mats. The high walls help, especially when they get into a digging mood.It seems to be the litter box of choice for our FIRST cat, who insists on using it now, which is probably passive-aggressive cat behavior. It doesn't seem to collect odors, and cleanup is pretty easy, it's pretty good in terms of being non-stick, and the size helps in terms of maneuvering our big litter shovel/scoop.It's essentially a giant inexpensive non-stick dishpan, but if you have the space for it, your cats will love it.

Made for very small cat
Must be I didn't read the measurements - way to small for my adult female (not fat) cat, so use it instead for my plants and very happy with this use for it. Pan has low sides - maybe 4", and is quite small - perfect for a kitten or very tiny cat/kitten. Otherwise is fine.
