This battery worked out well for me. I was prepared to dispose of the 8-year old tablet. For $16, I took the chance of fixing it. The hardest part was accessing the old battery without damaging the tablet. Once open, the battery was easy to change and closing the case was not a problem. The tablet, even with it's age, is extremely usefull, as it casts easily to my large TVs. I'm glad to have it back.

Ordered for my son's tablet because the old one started acting funny. Sometimes it would charge and other times it wouldn't. Easy enough to install, about 10 minutes from start to finish. Once installed it showed about 85% charge which allowed me to check functionality and charging. Everything checked out and allowed to finish charging before giving it to my son. The battery lasted all the next day and charged again the next night. That's the last time it took a charge. The next day it died in the afternoon and wouldn't charge again, showed 0% and would never start to charge. Ordered replacement. Once it came, I swapped it out. Same thing, 85% charged out of the pack. Again I plugged it up and let it finish charging up overnight. Next day, gave it to my son. Unfortunately, it didn't eve last a day. Battery died late afternoon and same thing as the other one, 0% and wouldn't take a charge. Returned both for a refund. I know it was the batteries because I put the old one back in and it changed and worked, but it really needs replacing due to the fact that it was swollen and soft. The only thing in the included tools any good are the screwdrivers because the ones used to open the tablet are just soft and cheap plastic. Luckily, I had a good set in a precision screwdriver set. I can't honestly recommend this product based on my experience.

The price of this was excellent.It was an exact fit for replacement. It not only worked but had over 70% power already. This made it possible to turn on and check the charging port. I would purchase this again.

Pros: Fit perfectly with a long life and fair charging time initially.Cons: Died quickly. I would say it last a little over a year before it stopped charging altogether.Given that it was only about $16 when I bought it, I'd say we spent less than $1 per month of use. Do I wish it lasted longer? Heck yes. I feel it's wasteful and not environmentally friendly to have it die so fast. Would I buy it again.... possibly, but not without trying another brand first, though I'll probably get the same results!

Good fit into my SM-T580, which is now working again. Came 75% charged. Seems like an excellent replacement so far.

Did not work for me. Replaced in my Galaxy tablet was to correct part and size. But did not turn my tablet back on. We moved and reinstalled several times. The old battery would show me 0% charge the new battery didn't show me anything. I am not 100% sure that it was the battery. Did not return battery too much of a hassle. Knowing that I had removed and reinstalled it so many times.

Just what I needed. It came with an 81% battery charge. The plastic tools work okay. Great value to replace a dead battery. A great purchase.

I did not have a successful outcome. I don't recommend trying this unless you have some experience and skill at modern electronics repair. Note that the ad and sticker on the package say this is a 7800mAh battery, but the label on the battery says 7300 mAh. There are no instructions provided. I viewed several YouTube videos and thought I could do this. I was wrong. The tools provided with the battery are useless. The plastic pry tools are too flimsy and the handles on the 3 screwdrivers are too small to get enough torque to unscrew tight screws. Unfortunately, the video I watched did not remind to remove the SD card before starting. I broke the SD port. The "latches" for the ribbon cables are VERY fragile and all three broke. My tablet is dead.

I've been able to rejuvenate an old tablet and give it a new lease of life. Holds charge well so far.

Parfait pour ma table samsung tabA. Le remplacement se fait facilement, des tuto sont disponibles sur YouTube. La batterie tiens bien, je l'ai changé en décembre et aucun soucis depuis.

Ich hatte an meinem Samsung Tab einen Black Screen und Akku konnte nicht mehr geladen werden. Nach Recherche im Internet bestand der Verdacht auf Akku-Defekt.Auf der Suche nach einem Ersatzakku wurde mir dieses Akku bei Amazon angeboten. Da ich den Preis als eher günstig erachtet habe, ist es dann bei mir gelandet. Nach dem selbst für Laien wie mich, einfachen Tausch, funktioniert mein Tablet sofort wieder.Fazit, Samsung Tablet dunkel nimm dieses neue Akku.

Cambié la batería de mi tablet Samsung SM-T580 con este producto, y funciona perfectamente bien. Fue super facil de cambiar.El kit de herramientas están bien, aunque los destornilladores son de calidad mediocre.
