Can my husband wear the transmitter in the shower? Can he let it get wet?

I would suggest adding the wall mount pull station next to the tub / toilet. Just outside the tub so it won't get wet but within reach should it be needed. They are like what you find in hospital bathrooms with the pull string and button. I got these for beside the bed and in the bathroom along with the button set. They all work together just fine. It won't let me link to them. Get 2 pull stations for like $25

Can the three buttons be set to the same ring tone and not have any of them default to the ding dong that is too much like the doorbell in the house?

Each button can be set to any of the tones you want. The trick is select the tone you want FIRST then pair the button. Do this for each pairing and you can have them all the same or all different. If you don't select a tone first, it will default to ding dong and you will have to do it again.

can this be used while taking a shower?

Accepted Answer

The Red & White 'Call Button' (Transmitter) is battery powered and could be located within, or immediately next to, the actual enclosure. HOWEVER, select a location where it would not be exposed to water or water vapor (Steam).
Mine is located on the outer wall of the walk-in bath/shower, within arms reach of the commode, and low enough to be reached from the floor.  I've had the system for eleven months or so, used it multiple times following surgery, and the battery is still strong.
The receiver (Square Box) plugs into a standard 110v outlet - Just be sure the outlet you choose is NOT controlled by a switch.
Well worth the cost!

Question 4

Can i set it up so that all the buttons ring all the receivers at once?

Yes, you can. You have to go to each individual receiver with all the call buttons for programming.  Follow the directions included with the receiver.
