QAP Stainless Steel Flat Beater Fits KitchenAid 4.5 5 QT Tilt Head

This is a well made, stainless steel paddle that fits better than the original attachments that came with my Kitchenaid k5a (it's about50 yrs old). I was hesitant to buy it, but am glad I did. I will look for other products from QAP from now on. I'm totally pleased.

Don’t wait, make this upgrade now. This quality steel constructed flat beater is a huge improvement on the kitchenaid constructed beater. Because of its shorter neck, its paddles are large — pushes less dough up the side of the bowl as it mixes. Its weight is substantial, more than twice as hefty. It feels smooth and no risk of flaking paint over time. I highly recommend this product for your kitchen aid tilt head stand mixer.

I was apprehensive about purchasing this product thinking it might not fit my particular kitchen aide mixer. My old beater was losing the coating so a new one was a necessity. My old original beater didnt really touch the sides so I figured as long as I could find one to attach properly I’d adjust. I double checked model number and researched the fit and have to say I love my new one. It looks great. It is strong and best of all it fits and does the job. Not any snugger than my old one but a great purchase. Very satisfied. Thank you. Amazons return policy in case it didn’t work was a real incentive !

Perfect replacement for original KitchenAid beater for my K5SS. Anyone who uses their mixer a lot knows that sooner or later the paint peels off the bottom of the flat beater and then it has to be replaced. With no paint and a smooth stainless steel surface this beater is a much better solution. Feels like it will be quite sturdy. I am quite pleased and wish I'd bought this much sooner!! I previously ordered a different flat stainless steel beater that looked good but was slightly shorter than the original one. As a result it would do a worse job of getting to the material at the bottom of the bowl which is already a problem at some times. There are many on Amazon that look similar to that one, they may or may not all be the same. This one (with a QAP logo on the shank) reaches to exactly the same place at the bottom of the bowl as the original. Some have complained that it's hard to install on the mixer, that is not an issue for me as it attaches quite easily. The mixing shape of this beater is taller than that of the OEM version. No doubt that's a good thing if you really fill the mixing bowl but otherwise I can't say at this point if that makes any significant difference pro or con.

This is a good quality beater. I wanted a stainless steel beater for my kitchen aid mixer so I could put it in the dishwasher. I would recommend this item to others.

I wish I would’ve bought this sooner!! It doesn’t chip paint like the original kitchen aid paddle! Heavy duty, easy cleaning. Fit my 6qt kitchen aid perfectly.

Works great, just wish it got all the way to the bottom of the bowl. Holds up great with dishwasher usage.

Perfect for my 1980's Kitchen aid, I got off marketplace. The one that came with it, was chipped up, this is clean, stainless steal, and reaches to the bottom of the bowl!

Works great, better than the original one that came with the mixer as this is stainless and doesn't have the chipping ceramic or aluminum top mount.. so you can put it in the dishwasher. The extra bars inside mix better as well.

Great replacement beater! It fits my KitchenAid perfectly, feels durable, and mixes ingredients very well. I especially like the stainless steel design with no coating to worry about. Easy to clean and works exactly as expected. Highly recommend.

Quality exceed all expectations, veavy duty well made. Fits 5 quarts bowl. Looks fantastic highly complements our retro kitchenain (hobart) definitely reccomend.
