Recommended for: - Casual to intermediate players (i.e., people who like Splendor/Ticket to Ride, but may not enjoy Terra Mystica) - People who are new to board games aside from Monopoly - Siblings who can sit still for rules that are literally just one big piece of paper folded in half - People who want to get a game started and finished within 45 minutes to an hour (if they don't know the rules) - People who want to get a game started and finished within 30 minutes (if they do know the rules) This is one of my favorite games to teach! I've gotten so many plays out of this and people at work have enjoyed it and ask me to bring it in weekly. If you have a group of players that enjoy a more challenging game but are still fairly casual, this is the game to pick up. I've observed that the more casual players tend to pick up pieces very quickly, as they've analyzed what they wanted and generally have an idea of what they want to do. The more hardcore gamers will find that this game can be extremely AP-inducing; they will look at everyone else's board and pore over what the best strategy would be to both make their city the best while also making sure their rivals haven't picked up on a better strategy. I've found that the hardcore folks would rather play something else. This is a very min-max kind of game. It's great fun without being overly complicated. The concept is simple enough, and there are videos online if you're unsure how to explain a certain rule. You build a bunch of different buildings, and depending on how you arranged it in your city, you'll score a certain number of victory points. I've only ever played the classic side, but there is also an expert side if you flip the pieces over. One day!

Wow, this is a heavy box! We unboxed it, my daughter and I, and there are thick cardboard pieces. The artwork is very nice, and the quality of the components are top notch. There are two game play modes: Classic and Expert. Classic is the beginner's game, and we played it. It's easy enough for grade school children, like my daughter, and teaches rules and decision making, and competitive, yet fun game play. It's fun building your own city, and this game does just that for us. Highly recommend!!

This game is very enjoyable. I've also played Suburbia and most of my friends actually preferred this even though on most reviews it's lower on the list. I like that it takes some strategy and every game is different! Very entertaining and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys city building games. Directions were easy to understand and picked up the game quick. Plus I LOVE that it has the slots for all the pieces, I don't have to buy an insert like I do with some games.

Quadropolis is a drafting puzzle game where players collect various sets of buildings that score based on tile placement and how many. This is strongly based upon set collection mechanics that are tried and true. There is not too much new in the collection of buildings, but the placement and drafting is where the meat of the puzzle lies. When drafting, players must select with a 1-5 that determines both the tile selected and where it can be placed on your personal numbered board. The decision is simple, but has enough implications that there is little possibility to plan out more than a turn or two. Tactical decisions like this make for a quieter game where players are forced to first identify possible moves, then choose the best one. Both of these steps taking about equal amounts of time. In this way, the game plays more like an abstract, but there is a bit too much information to absorb everything at once and quickly see a powerful move. Additionally, the power/people management is somewhat inconsequential. It is there only to ensure players select varying types of buildings and serves very little purpose outside of forced variety. They do, though, have an appealing look that compliments the other excellently bright art and quality-feeling components. Quadropolis is a relaxing game that is an easy tile drafting and placement mostly solitaire puzzle that is very enjoyable. Its decisions carry meaning, but oftentimes players can get stuck in the swamp of choices and ultimately draft what "may" be a good choice instead of confidentially choosing just the right piece. This is a great gateway or family game.

Fun game. Pretty simple. We played it a bunch and it's not complex enough to still hold my attention. Don't play it much anymore.

This game is a blast. Days of Wonder always knocks it out of the park as far as quality and simplicity, and they did not fail here. My only "gripe" would be that the artwork looks a bit app-like which may turn some people off initially. My friends and I love this game and play it regularly.

This is a great game, and I am enjoying playing it a lot. It's very puzzlely and has two modes for more options. It plays well at 2 and at 4 players.

My copy arrived with misaligned printing. Asmodee no longer carries the game so replacement parts were not available. The game itself is great; I played it with a friend's copy, but my copy arrived unplayable.

Es un excelente juego de construcción de ciudades Es un juego muy muy bien diseñado, es muy sencillo pero con lo suficiente para pensar muy bien en cada turno los movimientos a realizar. Los componentes están muy bien y el inserto también ayuda realmente a guardar como debe de ser cada componente. Por el precio lo vale al 100 % Era un juego que no me llamaba mucho la atención pero ha Sido una gran sorpresa. Funciona muy bien a dos. Recomendado

Excelente juego que toda la familia podría jugar. Escala sin ningún problema con cualquier cantidad de jugadores pero de preferencia de 4 es donde mas demandante se pone. El juego tiene dos modos Clásico y Experto personalmente no le veo problema con cualquiera de los dos modos que selecciones. En su juego que tiene que estar en tu colección sera uno de los grandes clásicos . Kudos: por como el juego se organiza dentro de la caja es raro ver esa atención al detalle pero bueno no esperaba nada menos de Days Of Wonders

Es un juego con excelentes componentes una mecánica de juego sencilla pero dinámica entre los jugadores, está más orientado a niños y jóvenes el juego, pero puede considerarse para los amantes de los juegos de mesa como un juego de estrategia y tile placement sencillo y que invita a jugarse. Como juego familiar tiene todo el sentido del mundo. Para quienes disfruten los juegos de construir ciudades y que no sean complejos, este será una excelente opción.

Es una gran compra, como todo juego de DAYS OF WONDER el arte y modo de juego han sido sumamente cuidados para QUADROPOLIS . Es un juego ligero que además puede escalar una vez que se ha dominado la forma básica de jugarlo . Sin duda una gran compra , a un gran precio.

Es un juego simple, rápido pero con gran estrategia. Altamente recomendado para familias o personas competitivas, adicionalmente los componentes son de alta calidad.
