This tape is wonderful. Sticks like crazy. Removal is not too bad when you're done. Leaves no residue on my wood or the drill socket which I use as a sander. It holds the sandpaper I tape to the socket as a small sanding device.

Great product. I bought the 1/2-inch and it is all that I need for holding a pattern to wood for use on my router table. And, a little goes a long way - it is very economical to use. It holds well and removes without any residue. Tip: cut it at a sharp angle to make it easier to remove the liner.

Works great for wood working. Template stays where you put it put is removable. Not too thick. the Backing is easily removed. zero residue when the tape is removed.

This is good double sided tape for fastening templates for woodworking routing and cutting. It feels a little thick and I’m not sure the “Residue Free” claim is completely accurate, but it holds both sides well, tears easily to length, and the film cover on the top side is easily removed.

I heard about XFasten Double Sided Woodworking Tape from a woodworking internet video, where it was highly recommended for router work. I had previously tried several carpet tapes, but I didn't like their performance. I went on Amazon and in a day or two I had a 3-roll pack delivered to my door. After several days of use, I must say that this tape does a really good job of holding my work down when I’m routing. Even a little dust in the environment doesn’t phase it. The adhesion is so good, I wondered if separating my work from my sacrificial base surface would be difficult, but it was not a problem. I sometimes use a thin, slotted screwdriver to start the separation, but otherwise, my work pieces separate using my bare hands. When separating the workpiece from the base, the tape separates cleanly and in one piece - it doesn’t tear into pieces. So far, I haven't seen it damage any wood surfaces. Removal of the used tape from a surface is easy and I’ve seen no residue left behind. An excellent product.

Good tape, removable with a bit of effort. No residue left on parts.Only had one issue, workpiece was stuck so hard I had to pry it up and damaged the workpiece.Pack had a lot of tape so I'd say it's a good value for the price.

This is my 3rd time ordering Xfasten woodworking tape. It is strong and comes off without damaging the taped surfaces. It is so strong, in fact, that it’s way too easy to use too much! I recall a time when I had to use a wide putty knife to get the items apart. I damaged the parts, the tape didn’t! Anyway, it’s great for template routing and for holding holding boards, etc., together for gang cutting and sanding.

Works well to temporarily attach templates.

So far the tape seems to work well. Good hold and the silicone adhesive doesn't leave a residue on the wood and so far it hasn't pulled any wood fibers up either. Cloth backing is strong and prevents the tape from ripping when removing.

Perfect for holding saw and router jigs temporarily in place. The tape holds tightly but can be easily and cleanly removed from wood and finished surfaces.
