I bought it as a prop for when playing video game along with a cowboy hat. It's fair quality, won't take too much abuse

No, Itr does not. I bought these for my Grandsons for Christmas and found caps at Walmart that were cheaper than Amazon.

Q: Would this cap gun scare off crows?

Yes it would, but crows are intelligent birds, and may become inured to the report.
