Heavy duty jack, light weight and worth every penny. For my safety and that of my family (my kids, 2 boys and 2 girls help with car maintenance so they would learn) it is worth the extra dollars, think about it>

I needed a car jack that would fit under a sports car (5" clearance) AND be able to lift it high enough to get dolly's under the wheels. Quick calculation said something like 19 inches of lift. This may not be important to you, but was critical to me. After reading lots of reviews, this jack had one of the largest ranges. It IS mostly aluminum, but it's still plenty heavy (goodness knows how heavy the steel ones are!). This is a high end (and expensive jack) and has some nice features - the pressure bypass valve is a nice feature and the handle detaches and breaks down. Overall it is clear that this is a quality piece of kit. If i was to nit-pik, here is the bad. 1) The release valve is very sensitive, letting the car down slowly takes a bit of practice. 2) The support pad is too big for (sports) cars with small jack areas - I end up using a small piece of wood to make sure that I am lifting at the right point. With larger vehicles this is prolly not an issue, but for a 2 seater, it's needed. Those are minor points and overall I am very happy with this jack.

Not a low profile jack. It will not fit under a Mazda 3, it's heavy, hard to move, and overpriced! I don't give bad reviews but this ticked me off because I thought I was paying for a good jack and got a subpar jack.

Slightly heavier than what I wanted, but the performance and positioning makes up for the weight. I also like the low profile as it allows me to raise my vehicle from the front and place both jack stands in at once instead of raising it from each side. Works great for SUVs as well!

This is a gorgeous piece of hardware. But I got one that's not usable due to a seized caster. Even though I can see bearings in there, the caster does not spin freely, and the jack can not be maneuvered easily on the floor. The caster is clearly a replaceable part, but the only contact info in the packaging is a warranty card mailing address for the importer: Ridgerock Tools, INC. in Gardena, CA. It seems a shame to return this jack to Amazon for want of a replacement caster, but that appears to be the only straightforward option -- until I can research Ridgerock Tools and contact them during during business hours.

It works but I don't feel the price is justified. It doesn't have any branding what so ever on the jack leading me to believe that this is a generic version built by one company and then sold to many different companies charging different prices. Best bet to find the cheapest price possible.

Purchased this jack to be able to safely and easily rotate my own tires, check brakes, etc. This is a beautiful, well made, fairly lightweight (58 lbs.) jack that will do the job. To correctly lift a car with pinch welds it is necessary to place a pinch weld adapter on the rubber lifting plate. Works like a charm. The only con is the carrying loops are not located at the jack's balance point. I easily corrected this by installing a heavy rope handle between the left rear wheel and the left carrying loop. Other than that minor problem this jack is a winner.

I thought this jack would be a little lighter since it was made out of aluminum, but its not too bad. As for the jack's looks and operation... It's AWESOME. UPS just dropped it off and I have already tried it out. It only takes about 5 1/2 pumps for it to be fully extended. It looks really cool and seems to be VERY well made. It is a little on the pricey side but like they say, you get what you pay for. Bottom line, If you can spend this much on a floor jack, definitely buy this one!
