Great flashlight for the car, in neat little case, fits in glove box, easy to change modes
Edit: Okay it has worked so well that I need to update! I think perhaps the highest recommendation is whether you would purchase it again......and today I received my second one to put in the other car. Truly surprised at how a smallish flashlight can produce such light. No it is not like a searchlight, but it is much brighter than other similar flashlights I have which are larger and which cost more! Basically you don't want a huge flashlight for the car. You want one that will fit in your glove box of in a side pocket which is easily reachable and dependable. I put some extra batteries in the case just to be safe. The rechargeable battery is the only thing I would change. I would rather have a long life battery that you replace every year or so as charging in the car is not very convenient. This charger goes into a wall outlet meaning you have to take it out of the car to charge it and that is the only thing I would change. The little box is padded and I have dropped it on the cement floor and the flashlight was protected. Typically don't update/edit a 5 star review unless there has been a change since I initially wrote the first one. This one however has performed beyond my expectation and felt it was deserving of an update! I had left my prior car flashlight in the car I traded in and wanted to replace it with one similar. I wanted one that was very bright and had both strobe and SOS flashing. Being able to focus the beam in tightly or keep it wide was another item I wanted. This fits the bill and does even more. Unlike my prior flashlight, this one comes in a neat little plastic case which holds the charger and battery as well as the flashlight. I have a compact car and thought it might not fit, but proved to fit perfectly in my Mini glove box. I don't know how many times over the years I have used the car flashlight but it is a lot. From searching for dropped keys under the seat, to arriving home without lights on making it tough to see the door knob, to using it to read a map or a book, well the uses were more than the emergency ones for which I purchased it. I would never own a car without having a decent flashlight. This one is more than decent. There was also room in the case for me to put several regular batteries. That way if when I need it the rechargeable one needs charging, I will be able to install those and have it function immediately. One of the things that bugged me about my old one was it was very difficult to move between the various light modes. It required a just so light touch and if you hit it too hard, it would just turn off rather than moving to the next mode. This one automatically moves to the next mode without having to guess how hard to push the button. You turn it on, then off and then immediately back on again and it goes to the next mode. Turn it off and then immediately back on and it cycles to the next one. This is way easier. I would definitely recommend this. I have not had time to check the battery life, but like most rechargeable batteries assume that how long it lasts is a function of how often it is used and how long it has been since you last charged it. Because this one will also run on regular batteries, that isn't a factor for me. Likewise I didn't test it for water proof. While I don't have any plans to drop it in a lake, should I drop it in a puddle and it lives I will be more than satisified.

Nice flashlight, but there are better values for the money.
Bright and decent value the money, but I doubt that its 1000 lumens. This is a nice bright unit. Battery lasts a very long time. This unit also comes with a case to hold everything which was a nice added bonus. I have bought 2 other models (3 total models) that I can compare to this one for you. 1. (THIS UNIT) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ECVB6P0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this item represents itself as 1000 lumens. I have tested all of the units and swapped batteries while testing and used an identical battery in all units. The Outlite A100 was brighter. Construction, fit and finish were nearly identical. Price is about the same. This unit comes with a case which the Outlite does not, but they both come with the same stuff. 2. (Other Flashlight I bought) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X0QFZ06/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This item is a great value, but not as bright as this Outlite. At the time of writing this review it included 2 flashlights as a combo buy - $8.50 for both flashlights (without batteries) If you buy 18650 battery and charger as well its a pretty good deal. Its pretty bright, just not quite as bright as the Outlite, close though. This item represents itself as 1200 lumens, which I doubt because the Outlite A100 says its a 900 Lumen and is brighter than this flashlight. This flashlight is smaller than the Outlite by about 1-2 inchs. By the way, the battery and charger combo i bought was: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017T6W9EC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it included 4 batteries and charger for 12.99. 3. (Other Flashlight I bought) https://www.amazon.com/Outlite-Handheld-Flashlight-Portable-Tactical/dp/B00VZT2WP6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473084175&sr=8-2&keywords=Outlite+A100+900+Lumens This unit is a amazon best seller and represents itself as 900 lumens. It was the brightest of all 3. I would recommend this unit over the 1st one. I would say that if you want 1 good flashlight that fits in your hand perfectly get this Outlite, if you want more than 1 flashlight and dont mind the smaller size (does not fit in hand) Get the Ultrafire SK 98 because its a combo and you cant beat the price and brightness. Each of the 3 units have pros and cons. Realistically, you cant go wrong with any of them. 3 is the brightest and most expensive, 2 is a combo and as bright at the Peak plus, and this PeakPlus includes a case and is a larger (fit in your hand) flashlight like the outlite as opposed to the 2nd one combo flashlight which is a mini size. All these units look and operate similar, but the Outlite was the brightest, and the Ultrafire SK98 was the best value, the Peakplus has a case.

right and Versatile Flashlight, Great for Everyday and Emergency Use
This flashlight is a really solid option if you want something bright, reliable, and easy to keep around for everyday or emergency use. The light output is strong enough for things like outdoor use, power outages, or working in dark areas, and the adjustable zoom lets you switch between a wide floodlight and a more focused beam depending on what you need. It has five modes including low, medium, high, strobe, and SOS, which makes it more versatile than basic flashlights.

Nothing will escape what you are looking for!
Killer flashlight. Top notch quality, rechargeable battery last months once charged and you can swap it out for the "AAA carousel hopper" that comes with it! Super durable and has a great weighty feel to it. It has zoom features with 5 light settings you can use. (You cannot save any of the presets but all 5 settings can be accessed instantly thought the "quick click" system (read manual to understand how to use the system. Very simplistic to use but powerful). With it also being waterproof, you don't have to worry about it getting wet neither. This PEAK PLUS flashlight is extremely, extremely bright! You could uncloak the Predator himself hiding in a tree with this badboy/girl! This flashlight gets so bright, if you cut off all the lights out in your home and turn it on, it will look like all the lights in your house has been turned on all at the same time! My favorite feature on this PEAK PLUS flashlight is the focus light you can use. It lights up the surrounding area of what you point it at and the other ray of light beams super bright unto the thing you focused it mainly on. What an amazing feature! Nothing will escape or stay hidden from you when using this flashlight. Absolutely nothing! Last but not least, battery life is staggering to behold. It takes around 5-8 normal charging and 12-16 hours if you allow the rechargeable battery to become really low to start but once it's charged, the charge lasts for months and months! Even after hours of use of having it on super bright in a multitude of usages and situations, it still takes a really long time before it's next big recharge. 10/10 PEAK PLUS flashlight indeed! I almost forgot the warranty and that is no frill lifetime of the product! A year on normal wear n tear and then a lifetime on defective uses and/or breaks for some unknowingly reason. Pretty much impossible to destroy because the quality is so high, you would literally have to purposely destroy it with everything you've got! And still it's covered under the no hassle warranty! This is how a product should be made and other companies should take notice on this companies professionalism and service to its customers! Worth....every....dollar! 100/100 on complete package of PEAK PLUS flashlight including the professional case with eggshelled interior protection of the storage and its accessories.

Excellent flashlight, easy to recharge or put 3 batteries in. This is my second one, very sharp light, that you can pull out to make bigger or smaller. Love it.

Works well at first
Initial review: The flashlight is very bright and a handy little tool to keep in a pocket, a purse, or a car. I use mine mostly for camping and hiking. However, when I opened up the package, I found a bunch of tiny plastic pieces that somehow broke off of the flashlight despite it being packaged inside of a padded case. It still works, but when I buy something new, I expect it to be in perfect condition. Update: I had this flashlight for about one and a half years. The wrist strap is completely flimsy and broke off within a couple of uses. I used it as a light source during a power outage once, and set it on the bathroom counter while taking a shower. I thought that it would be fine since it is supposedly water resistant, but after being exposed to the steam, the light was noticeably dimmer. I have dropped it on the ground a few times and after the last time, found the circuit to be improperly connected and unreliable. Sometimes it would turn on, sometimes not. It would sometimes work after shaking it. When I took the flashlight apart, I discovered that the only thing completing the circuit had been a small, flimsy spring touching the battery. I tried to glue it back in, but I guess the glue prevented the metal from touching and now it doesn't work at all. When the flashlight worked, it worked well. I took it hiking, camping, and backpacking several times, including a week long trek through the Smokies. I like the rechargeable battery and being able to switch through the different modes without having to cycle through all of them to turn it off and on. If it were not for the cheap spring falling off, it would be a decent light. However, one has to question the product's integrity if the only thing between it working and not working is one flimsy spring. I think that is obviously poor product design. Mine went in the trash, and I do not plan on buying another one. However, my friend has had the same one for two years and his still works fine.
