Are they better for finger-picking?

I installed these strings on a 72 fender telecaster thinline with wide range pickups using a fender supersonic 60 watt tube amp and found the sound difference from the Ernie ball super slinky strings I usually use to be harsh. There was more treble then I wanted and an almost chimey sound from the higher notes. This is not a string suited for country music which is what I was playing. It accents the finger picking well by making each individual note stand out more clearly but the louder I played it started distorting and under distortion it was an unpleasant sound. Best stick to the tried and true Ernie ball slinky and super slinky for finger picking. In fact on my american start with single coils the slinky strings sound the best by far for country music. Tuffet to bend then super slinky but a much more rounded tonal quality then these cobalt strings. I hope this review helps.

O som das cordas é bem brilhante

Very good strings

I’ve not tried this particular one before, usually opting for the Ernie ball 9’s ( pink pack) but I wanted to try the 8’s , they are pretty good to be fair , not broken one ( yet , and I do tend to dig in a bit) stay in tune very well, ( after a good stretch) good sound and a decent price, will buy again, not had them long enough to rust yet, but I play every day so that’ll keep it down
