I have used this one time in now and I’ve noticed that the outside wrapping is separating from the connector exposing the terminal wires. This can be very dangerous and cause a fire or loss of power. Again, I am warning all potential buyers that this unit was used one time, please note the photo and below. I bought for a backup and glad I noticed the defect in workmanship.

I've had a feeling this winter is going to be a bad one so I wanted to be prepared. I bought a 13kw generator and wired the house for connecting to the gen. This cord makes it easy and I can put the gen almost 50 feet from the house. Very durable and I love the built in handles. Great for my needs.

Received on time, quality item, however, I had an issue with female plug, contacted RVGuard and they offered several options, including complete replacement of the entire extension cord and shipped it quickly. Very satisfied with how they responded, insuring complete customer satisfaction. Thanks RVGuard.

I'm using this to connect my generator to to my home. The cord works great and I really like the little LED indicator that tells when the cord has power to it. It also came with a cool little bag and a strap for storing it when not in use. The cord is reasonably flexible considering it is a 50 amp rated cord but keep in mind that these are all pretty stiff due to the larger gauge wires required. Cord length is right at the 25' it is listed at. Seems well built and I expect it will hold up. I will update the review if I find otherwise.

Not as good of quality as other 30 amp brand RV cords I own (Furrion, etc.) The plugs are fine, but the cable casing does not feel as durable and has some imperfections and at least a couple holes. The bag is nice though! I will be returning this item.Update: After returning the RVGUARD cord I purchased the following for $35 - it looks to have a much better quality casing, and convenient grab handles at each receptacle. This cord is perfect for connecting a backup generator to the house in the event of a power outage. I picked this one up after having to return this unit:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BHGY94E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The Conntek cord would not fit into my power inlet box, as other reviews of it mention the contacts on the inside of the female end are very misaligned and won't allow it to seat and twist to lock into place. Buyer beware of it.This RVGuard cable fit perfect, easily twists and the black ring on the outside can be screwed down to lock into place. Its plenty long enough at 25ft. Very secure connection and the green LED indicator light on top is a nice feature also. The little carry bag and tie strap are a nice touch also. It holds the cord itself along with my propane hose that came with the generator. 5 Stars Highly recommended.

I normally don't write a lot of reviews but was incredibly impressed by this product. I purchased the 30 foot cord. It arrived in 3 days. It is a very heavy duty cord with durable casing, heavy duty connectors, a plastic strap for carrying and a very nice bag with really cute artwork on it. Take a look at the photo. This product is very high quality and works great as an extension to the existing 30 amp cord I have for my RV. If you want quality, you won't be disappointed.Additional: I ordered a second extension cord and love it as much as the first. Very well made and beautifully packaged. I gave my first one to an RV friend and they love it as well.

I don’t use this at campgrounds, so far anyway. I needed this to give me that few extra feet I needed to plug my RV in at home. I have a grounded outlet on the backside of my garage and needed an additional 7’. I like to pre-cool my refrigerator before a trip or test appliances in the RV before it goes in for annual inspection. Before purchasing this I had to pull the RV forward and have it partially park on the grass and don’t like to do that. The 15 amp adapter I have fits it perfectly on it as well. It’s nice to know it works well in case I ever need to use it at a campground.The storage bag is absolutely adorable and I use it for shopping - it’s too cute for extension cord storage. I store it in a heavy duty shipping bag from a prior Amazon purchase and it fits nicely in my RV’s storage bay. Highly recommended.
