Island cat life
Easy to assemble. Very cute! Took her a while before she trusted the hammock. Had to shorten the knots in the strings to make the hammock actually lift off the ground. The hammock has already started to tear however as you can see a little in this picture. Perhaps this is why they have it set to sit on the ground instead. The tan soft material of the cat tree does shed, as a warning. I find new small flakes of tan fluff around the tree daily.Overall very happy. Adorable design. Perfect for this island cat life.

Beenie approved!
Really cute scratching post!! The strings to the hammock were too long which made the hammock almost sit on the floor so I cut them, retied them and hid them inside the hammock, because I just knew that would be the first thing my cats went for if they were sticking out.I have 2 cats less than 7 months old who are pretty playful and the post has held up great so far. Our Beenie sleeps on the hammock all the time and I wasn’t sure he would. Definitely worth the money!

A kitten’s paradise
This hammock and scratching post is super cute! I have two cats, a 13 year old and a newly adopted kitten. My older cat hates hammocks so she won’t even try it out, but she loves the palm tree scratching post. I’m actually going to order the single scratching post for her! My kitten is 2.5 months old and she loves to climb things so I thought this would be perfect for her. The hammock itself is definitely more appropriate for kittens than full grown cats. My package came with instructions, which I didn’t use because it’s fairly simple and straight forward. You can figure it out easily, if you have common sense. 🤷🏼♀️ There aren’t a lot of pieces to assemble, so I don’t know why people are complaining about that. The hammock comes with two strings that are already tied to hold it up. You can easily untie these and tie them tighter to make them shorter so that hammock hangs. That’s what I did because with the strings as received, the hammock was laying on the base. Not sure how people haven’t figured this out lol. Use your imagination. 😂😂Overall, if my cats scratch the hell out of this soon (which they very well might) I will be ordering another! I received it yesterday and I have already gotten compliments. If you’re thinking about ordering this for your kitten, do it! 🏝😻

this scratching post is great
At first my cat didn't understand what it was. I tried to put catnip on it, nothing. he didn't use it. but after a while... he discovered how to use it & it became his favorite scratching post! I have this and a cardboard one and he doesn't use the cardboard anymore since using the tree... what more - the tree looking so cute! sometime the upper leaves fall tho but it's very easy to put it back.some disadvantages -*when you take it out of the box it has a really strong smell of dust, and unpleasant one. I had to vaccum it & wait for the smell to go away because putting it in a room made the room hard to breathe in. but it passes after a week or two.*the tree always swinging when using it and it's not steady enough. but it doesn't look it bothers my cat too much, I think it's best to find a way to stick it to the floor somehow, I didn't found a way yet..

Cute and the cats love it, BUT…
The kitties love it, they “helped” me during assembly even! As soon as it was together, they were scratching and playing with the attached ball hanging on the tree.I didn’t think they would look twice at the hammock part, but I got this one because it’s design was sturdy compared to the one that’s just a tree. The baby of the family (3 mos) immediately took a nap on it, later the 6 month old crawled on it and to take a nap and the cheap staple holding the braided rope into the cardboard tube ripped right out on one corner and down he fell. We had to rig a way to tie it back up. He’s a whopping 7 lbs, 3 lbs shy of the 10 lb weight limit. Had that happen to the other 6 month old that’s overly skittish, it would have traumatized him for life from the entire thing. It’s made very poorly with exposed staples all over the posts, the cats could easily inadvertently pull out while scratching, undoing the rope and injuring their paws. It’s adorable and the cats love it. With a rework, it’ll be purrrrrrfect. I’m going to re-wrap all the posts and secure the ropes completely different so they are more secure and can hold more weight as the cats grow. Or just order a free-standing hammock to put between the two posts.

Everything your cat needs I'm one item
I love that you get everything your cat needs in one item! Scratch post, bed and perch for looking out the window. The only thing I didn't like was that it became wobbly relatively quickly.I still think it was worth what I paid for it!!

Beyond Cute!
This exceeded my expectations! It came in a small box and I immediately thought it was not going to be sturdy but it very much is and it is sooo cute. My little chubs loves it! We had to set it on our center table since he's claimed that spot his and actually looks cute as a table piece lolIf you're debating between this cat scratcher with another plain one, stop wasting your time and click Buy Now, you won't regret it!

Overall excellent purchase
The media could not be loaded. This was super easy to assemble, aside from hanging the hammock. The strings/ropes provided are way too long, so you have to cut them to size. I ended up cutting them too short and had to start over with some twine i happened to have laying around. The hammock also shedded a lot while I was assembling it because the folded over ends (where you insert the dowels) are unfinished. It's slightly smaller than I expected. Not height-wise, but my 2.5lb kitten barely fits on the platform. And heads up- the bottom is not one solid piece. It folds in half in the middle. It doesn't really make a difference I guess, but you can't really grab one of the poles to lift it up and move it. Those are the reasons I subtracted a star, but I otherwise love this thing. My kitty enjoys relaxing in the hammock (once he got the hang of it!) and perching on the platform to whine at me, but he LOOOVES playing all over this thing! We almost always end up having playtime on it. He also loves these scratching posts. He uses them almost every time he walks by it!

Will tip over if you have anything bigger than a kitten!
Really like this, but we have to put a weight on the bottom to keep it from tipping over which isn’t ideal.

Missing Pieces
Parts were missing, so I could not assemble the item and had to return. Disappointing
