Please make sure the size of adapter card for your computer!Because adapter card + SSD, size is bigger than standard M.2 NGFF solid-state drives.
Pleae make sure the M.2 NGFF port of computer supports PCIe X4 or PCIe X2 transfer mode(The speed of SSD can reduce 50% if M.2 NGFF SSD port only supports PCIe X2 transfer mode)!M.2,SATA3 4/5 and SATA Express port of the motherboard can only choose one to use,otherwise it will cause hard disk can't identify.

Can the total free enclosure fit a wd black sn750 with heatsink? thanks.

1) Probably not, but why would you need a heatsink on it if you're putting it in a heatsink enclosure? 2) This enclosure has issues inherent to the design which causes communication errors, I'd recommend getting something else.

No it is only compatible with M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD's.

The Sabrent USB C inclosure that I have has been fine. I have not used it that much so I do not know of continued use. I have found that the clip that holds the M.2 Drive is awkward to get into place to hold down the drive. The inclosure seems well made I do not see that there should be a problem.
