Beautiful
This Hamsa is beautiful and made well. It is smaller than I realized for the space I want it for, but I will find another area to display it.

Moving forward
I wasn't sure where to put this in my house - thought, in front of a window, maybe? Then I looked at the plaque by the back door "Welcome to Cabin" with the moose on it. Yes, has a memory. No, not my style. Taking down the moose & setting it in the "maybe I'll use this in the future" shelf in the creepy basement brought me a sense of relief. No longer do I have the moose in my peripheral vision to remind me of what was... something I bought for a cabin-like house when I was out of town to bury my mother's ashes... why remember that? Moving forward with bling & things (and fewer things) that have nothing to do with anyone else is nice. Not the most study thing (gave it a 4), but it's not like it needs to be all that sturdy. Just hangs on a hook next to the door...peripheral vision of me, edm-ish, buddah-ish, worldly, colorful, eye reminds me of Turkish family I babysat for years ago... This fits my world, now... while removing some of the weight of the past... good.
