MP-U8 Wireless Elite, Sweatproof, Sport Earphones, Earbuds, Bluetooth Earphones, Fast Charging Black

I have to admit, I have a bit of a fetish when it comes to Bluetooth earbuds. I purchased these headphones with the hope that they would meet or exceed my expectations compared to the original U8 headphones I purchased that look Identical to these with the U8 tag on them and small round case with short cord and 2 extra ear bud sizes. Looks can be deceiving. When I opened the box and looked at the cord that wraps around connecting the two buds together, I knew right away they were not going to meet those expectations. The cord is almost half the size as my others that I purchase, just like the last few were. The brand on the case I purchased before was KiKi. Which was funny cause that's my name. So I purchased them new in a box for $10 at a swap meet. I was so blown away by the sound I turned around and bought another pair from him. I have had them for 2 years and just recently started having issues with the left side cutting out, no doubt due to my excessive use and helmet when riding. I said if these last a year I would be happy and going into my third year and they are finally giving up. But the sound is great. they have a slightly bigger cord. All the "U8" versions that I have purchased have let me down. All have a super thin cord and the sound quality is less than average. These are a bit better but you can tell as soon as you sync them when the programed voice says connected. It's a poor quality voice and hence, a less than average sound. I know for $15 no to expect much. These are my 4th pair of trying to find the other brand quality on several sites, eBay and Amazon do not have them. I think I'm done wasting my money, lesson learned. The mic quality on these are un-useable. I tried to have a conversation with friends on my iPhone and they complain about all the noise in the background, and there is nobody or anything near. Walking through Costco is a joke. Its almost as if it amplifies the noise instead of cancelling it. So, don't expect much. kudos to you if you like them, I do have more expensive brands. Bose sports buds that are excellent, I guess the two I purchased at the swap meet were a fluke. I gave the 3 star rating only because compared to some of the other so called U8 versions I have tried, these are not the worst of them. They are packaged very well. But, would I buy them again? No, sorry I would not.
