Great Product !!!

The surface dock is a must have in my classroom. I use my surface to power a large true touch monitor and many other features of my classroom. It is so nice to be able to have speaker access, display out, charging, printer access, direct internet access, and a slideshow clicker all connected or not with one simple magnetic plug. I can plug the dock in and have my class all ready for online quizzes, music, demos, presentations, etc. Then just unplug it and have my tablet back and ready to go. This dock feels very solid and high quality. Brand new, the dock is very expensive, but I purchased mine used, and it was much more reasonable.

Great dock and works with the surface laptop as well as all surfaces. Has 4 USB ports which is nice for accessories or simply just plugging your phone into. Bought it during Coronavirus to work at home- when it arrived upon setting up I realized the hdmi/vga adapter was not included. So unfortunately that took some time to get since those chords were out of supply at local stores (everyone working from home lately)...so don’t forget to buy the adapter separately!!! Took an extra week to set up without it. Ughhhh. It doesn’t really say you need this chord anywhere except halfway through the instructions. Maybe techy people know this already though. Tip: push “windows” button and “P” to change screen options. Like if you want your surface screen to be black while using monitor.

Used an off brand/after market docking station for a couple of years, and it worked fine until recently. When I was looking for a replacement, I felt the cost difference between this branded product and after market was nominal. Very happy with this decision, you can feel the difference just in the weight. Plus it’s a cleaner install, and better connection, I was able to eliminate several cables.

Purchased this docking station to connect my SurfacePro4 to dual Dell 23 inch monitors. After reading a pile of reviews I also purchased two active Mini display port to DVI adaptors and, following the advice found on the reviews, I downloaded and installed the latest updates. I've been running the dock now for a few days and I must admit I am completely surprised by it! It is well made, connects flawlessly, the monitors are crisp and do not flicker. The dock actually has some weight to it and stays put when connecting the tablet. To be honest I cannot tell the difference between using the tablet with the dock compared to the tower PC it replaced. I'm extremely happy and would recommend this dock to anyone. Great idea, meh implacation. This dock is amazing with my surface book 2 when it works. Keyphrase when it works. It only sometimes works. Sometimes displays won't connect at all, forcing me to manually remove the monitors from devices and restart the computer, and the computer is always confused weather to use Ethernet or wireless, when it should always be Ethernet. It would be 3 stars, but the seller was perfect. It even came early

I bought a Surface Pro to replace my old laptop, but was worried I'd be limited when it comes to adding screens. This dock is perfect, gives you the ability to add 2 screens and provides much needed additional ports. I bought "Used - Good", the box the dock came in was original but it looked like it stomped on and then was wrapped in tape. I bought this for the dock, not the box, and the dock and components work perfectly and are in near perfect condition. The price was right and shipping was fast. I'm happy with my purchase.

Great solution for traveler, if you need a lap top and a desk PC. Use only use the Lap Top simply by connecting it to the electricity you will have a pc with a large monitor and a desk keyboard

Works well easy to use

Unit is built like a brick and much heavier than it looks. Comes with audio and DisplayPort to connect with older high resolution monitors. Very happy with how it connects with surface laptop.

No problems followed common sense worked the first time.
