Worked until they didnt. To be fair they lasted 10 months, however as we used the same brand coffee and sugar we never cleaned them. After we changed brands we cleaned one of the tubs with simple washing up liquid. Went to put coffee in and found bits of red. On checking the red paint was peeling off. I could expect this quality from lesser-known cheaper brands, but these were over 20 pounds and meant to at least last after a few washes.I bought them due to the make and reputation and at first they did look really nice. Yet washing up liquid with no scourer should have not peeled the paint at all. I could have not checked and it could have contaminated the coffee.

I love the colour but the only things is they are not air tight so coffee and sugar go hard. Making it harder to clean not happy for the price. They could make them air tight then be perfect.

I bought this set for tea, coffee, sugar to match my black and red kitchen. They are very very nice to look at and match my other morphy richards deep red products like kettle and toaster. It's not a garish red but a nice deep metallic. My only gripe is that the tubs are not labelled and do not have a clear window but I knew that when I purchased. Sometimes I open the wrong one lol but that's fine. I believe these are air tight they close very securely with a little twist action. The metallic feature is a bit annoying if finger prints and smeara are something that annoy you. I'm forever wiping them down. I would definitely recommend though, they are gorgeous and look more expensive than they are

Stunning product and fits in with the rest of the set I brought from this collection. I brought labels for mine to display Tea, Coffee & Sugar. The lid are very tightly secured and the colour is stunning. I am not however sure how long the Matt finish will last as when I took them out the box the Morphy Richards logo had slightly rubbed off. Which amazon did offer to replace but instead we agreed on a discount. Once I put my own labels on them so I knew what was in each container I was delighted with the end product.

Not sure if I have a dodgy set but at least one of them isn't solid it's ment to be sealed but I'm not sure where it's not but I know if I put water in to clean it it leaks so therefore defo not airtight
