DimensionsOther water containers we've used are big giant cubes and are hard to carry and work with. The Scepter is Slim and tall (comparatively) which makes it easier to carry around without it banging into your legs like the cube-shaped ones. It's also easier to pour from with it being tall and having the air-bleed valve in a convenient spot.2. DurabilityBuilt like a tank. Enough said.3. No smellOurs didn't have a smell. Others have reported a smell, but ours didn't have one. Also it's BPA free.Downsides1. The caps get in the way when pouring. Both the small and big. You have to hold them out of the way or else they swing down into the stream of water. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.All in all, a really, really solid storage can.
