Gorgeous board, high quality, wooden. The chips are plasticky but look really good with the board, and I like them. The dice is small but that's what people in the Balkans use it's not a plot to be cheap with them. You can buy better ones if important for you and still save yourself a ton for the quality of this board. Yes, the other reviewers are right - the packaging is weak. They just threw it in a bigger box with no padding. Board was unharmed though, so all good. Overall, I took a risk with this and it paid off well for me. I wanted a wooden one and this looked unbeatable for the price, and it is. Very satisfied!

While it might be laminate, for the price, it’s shipped from Turkey and is a fine, functional piece that looks the part. The dice are small but accurate and fit the board. My board came damaged but a message to the seller quickly remedied the situation. Very happy with my experience.

Wow was I disappointed when I open this backgammon set. After giving it 24 hours to breath... as the laqure was so fresh and still tacky my house smelled of laqure for a few days. I unfortunately got to excited when I saw the “well crafted” looking mind you board that I purchased it. It’s all vinyl and stickers. The dice..... they’re extremely tiny. I’d buy this for $15.00 maybe. I definitely feel taken advantage of. Don’t buy this. Keep looking do your research and read the reviews. I unfortunately didn’t and I’m very unhappy. Sending it back.

Great quality backgammon set. Beautiful case.

Ok for 10 bucks cheaper that is. 1 pair of puny die, no doubler, no shaker and not even a bag for the pieces. They're just sloshing around in the box. But.....I'm ok with that. I've got bunches of the other necessary parts to complete and improve this otherwise attractive board but to a newbee the complete game is not here. I didn't expect much as I had read the other reviews and it is exactly as I had read. It's nothing to write home about but it's "ok".

This backgammon is absolutely beautiful. I love the board and the design. I think it is well worth the investment. The dices are too small for the board. I think the dices should be a little bigger.👌
