DPH Metal Daybed with Roll Out Trundle

I adore this, I was looking for something to help my diabetic cat who had a seizure, the resulting neuropathy meant he couldn't climb very well anymore and jumping from tall spots meant a bad landing. He refused to use the stairs I got him and has been stuck on the floor ever since. I thought a trundle would provide an easy step up onto the day bed so he could then be up higher! It was shipped in a couple boxes, one large box I had no hope of moving myself, so I decided to cut it open and move the parts individually. Inside are several smaller boxes, so it was actually easy to get it all inside! I'm not the best with complicated things and can end up easily confused, but this was a breeze! It's very simple to build and took me about an hour at most. It was well made, all the holes lined up with no problem, all the parts were clearly labeled and there were no rough or uneven edges. And it worked perfectly, my boy is loving it!

We recently moved & my daughter wanted a daybed for her new room so we researched and finally decided on this DHP metal daybed with the trundle. The price was amazing and it shipped really fast. We had also purchased a different bed for my son and when we got it, it was just awful and not what we were expecting at all. We immediately sent it back. Yay for being able to return things, but boo because now my son still didn't have a bed. We kept looking for other beds, but nothing seemed quite right. We noticed that he really liked his sister's bed, so we asked him if he wanted one like her...it was an immediate "yes"! So, not even 2 weeks after buying our first daybed with trundle, we bought a second one! It came just as fast as the first one and, again, we were not disappointed. My kids now both have their beds in their rooms & they are perfect!Some things I like about this bed:It's lightweight, yet very sturdy.It's black metal, so it is perfect for a girl OR a boy.The price was amazing.Easy to move around the room if you're so inclined.Seriously, you won't be disappointed with this bed/trundle!

DHP modern daybed with trundle came in as promised. The instructions were very easy to follow and was put together without a hitch .i am using it in my guest room and it looks lovely .It is very sturdy , I know that my guests will find it roomy and comfortable when they spend the night. Thank you for giving me quality at an affordable price.

I wish I could give two separate reviews because is great , the big problem is trundle. It loose part all over and lower part fall off non stop. We just got this as a Birthday gift and skinny and small child sleep on it for week already. I think this is very short time for bed to break it down. I really trying to love it but is hard spend money in something what breaks over and over again :-(

Easy to put together, looks lovely in our guest room. Sturdy, a combined weight of about 350lbs has sat on this daybed with an offbrand temperpedic mattress several times and it holds just fine! The roller under the bottom works well on the carpet but I don’t recommend buying a 10inch mattress for the bottom roller bed

LOOKS nice when first set up. Made more for teens than little kids. I have a 4 and 6 year old. Them jumping on the bed together bent the front metal piece. And it basically split in half. Now I have to use something to hold the front frame up. After rolling out the trundle for a couple weeks every night the wheels started to fall off. The bearings in the wheels started to fall out, so I had little metal balls for my 1 year old to eat. Now the trundle is useless. It was just hassle to put together just for it to only be used for about a month.

I bought for my son and daughter-in-law. They are very pleased with it. It is serving the purpose we had in mind.My son had a minor issue in putting it together, but overall it was easy.

Very happy with this bed. It seems well constructed. Easy to put together. It took maybe 90 minutes, but I like to work slowly and read all the detail of the instructions. Add a bit more time for cleaning up the room, unboxing, trash removal, and putting the mattresses and sheets on, etc. Goes together easily. All the simple tools you need are included with the parts; wrenches and a few extra parts. These I tape to a back leg so they are handy if I ever have to sell or de-construct the bed. Remember to put the two locking wheels at the front of the trundle section.

I was surprised how easy this was to assemble - the product looks sleek and suits my needs very well. Bed will freak over time so bolts need to be tightened periodically - I recommend this product

Fit just the way we wanted and so sturdy even for my 6ft son
