My husband got really in to cooking during lockdown. He asked for a good knife for Christmas and I did a ton of research and stumbled on this one. I was really concerned that it wouldn't be high quality (you never know with Amazon). He gave it a test run on Christmas day and was like a little kid. He just started chopping things for the sake of it because it was so beautiful sharp and easy to manoeuvre, with a good weight behind it. He still loves it and uses it daily. Only thing that is a concern is the super sharpness. You could easy remove the top of your thumb without noticing at first. All in all, well worth the price. It's not dodgy or flimsy.

This actually a spectacularly high quality knife and an excellent value. I was expecting a decent product that would be better than my existing blades for doing thin slices. This is a well-crafted product through and through. From the ergonomics of the handle to the angle and edge of the blade. Purchase with confidence!

I LOVE Zelite knives! The quality is unmatched. It's really interesting to see how they have dominated Amazon. I've noticed there are a BUNCH of knock offs on Amazon that are trying to look just like Zelite. I haven't tested the quality of those knives, but I wouldn't bother! Knock offs are always only going to be just imitators! If you want the best on the market, buy the original Zelite brand. Stellar quality, stellar customer service, stellar all-around company. The Zelite knives are always razor sharp and hold a great edge. But they are not so rock hard that you can't resharpen them. It's easy to put a razor's edge back on the knife whenever you need to. THAT is one of the beautiful things about buying a really high quality knife like a Zelite - you can always put a sharp edge back on it, so it's like having an endless supply of brand new, razor sharp knives! Cheaper knives are made much harder, so it is MUCH more difficult to sharpen them. When you can't get an edge back on a knife, it's not only frustrating but dangerous. If a knife is dull, you have to use A LOT more force to cut, which means you can slip - and slips with a chef knife (even a dull one) is not something you want to do! The Zelites edge has an ability to practically GRIP the food because it bites into it so quickly and strongly. It makes any job in the kitchen super fast, super easy, AND FUN. Cooking with a knife like the Zelite is always a pleasure. It makes being in the kitchen even more fun. In the long run, buying a Zelite will actually SAVE you money (and may even save you your fingers from a dull knife slip!!). They save you frustration and make cooking a joy that even Julia Child would envy!!!

Our daughter and son gave us the bread knife as a gift and we were so impressed by it that we ordered the carving knife. Like the bread knife, it is exceptional, who gets excited about a knife, well frankly not me....until now! We've had the carving knife two days and used it on a hot but rested joint, then on the cold leftover. Wow! This knife is so comfortable to use and slices like a laser. Our previous knife was £40 and it was really good but honestly there is no comparison, spend the extra few quid, you won't regret it. The bread knife which has been used for a few weeks is superb. I make sourdough bread every week, it's baked in a Dutch oven and the outer crust is very crisp and can be quite tough. This knife makes short work of it without the loaf being crushed in the process. I get nice, neat medium-thick slices, my neighbour thought l'd had the local Baker slice it for me! I cannot recommend these knives or the service l've received highly enough. The knives are a considered purchase but l don't expect l'll ever have to replace them.
