What a difference!
The sound quality in our 2020 Toyota Corolla was pretty unpleasant, so I decided to see if the PowerBass would help. All I can say is, wow! Replacing the dashboard tweeters took me about five minutes each. The new tweeters are an exact, perfect fit. Upgrading the front door speakers was harder, but only because I had to figure out how to remove the door panels. YouTube is you friend on this one. Itโs not hard, itโs just a little intimidating to take your door apart for the first time. Again, the speakers were simple plug-n-play exact match. I now look forward to listing to audio in the Corolla. The improvement in sound quality is nothing short of amazing. This is the most rewarding, cost-effective car upgrade I have done.

Fairly straightforward for a gen 2 Prius, lots of time saved vs other options
Just put these into play recently, so I'll write up a little info while still fresh in my head. This kit makes the process dead simple for a Gen 2 (2005-2009) Toyota Prius. These replace the stock component speakers in the front. Tweeter fit into the housing simple enough. No bracket was necessary and it seemed like a fairly snug fit, however I did add a little adhesive strip foam to the front of it and that may have helped it fit so snugly. It's not the exact size of the oem tweeter, but close enough and no problems so far. Then taking the rest of the door off was not a huge deal (2 screws, snap out some fasteners + unhook window/lock cables and it all lifts right off). Drilling the rivets out of the stock speaker housings is a pain. You'll need a 1/8" drill bit. I snapped mine during the process, so maybe think about having a spare as well. Always wear safety glasses for that for sure. Then, these speakers drop right in and the wiring adapter is a nice touch. Then you have to rivet it back in, and I kind of wish they included clips/screws so that could be an option. I hate rivets. But can't fault them for sticking with what the oem design is. Everything went back together just fine and overall this was not a difficult install, and much better sound. The stock speakers were complete trash and had these tiny little magnets. I can hear bass now! I mean, not meant to be a subwoofer, but it's nice to have a little more than just vocal midrange. Contrast this to the experience I had putting some cheaper ones in the rear of the prius, which were not a kit like this but just standard speakers. It was a rough ride, had to take the stock speaker bracket and modify it and drill into the plastic to fit the new speakers, and ended up killing one in the process since my drill slipped while doing all the drilling. For the price of 2 of those sets of speakers and all the rivets and time spent drilling and dremeling, I probably just could have gone powerbass coaxials (OE652-TY) in the rear as well. Think about it!

100% Plug and Play easy installation
Great value, worth every penny! Surprisingly easy to install in my 2009 Toyota Matrix. Completely plug and play. Such an improvement over the stock speakers! Highly recommended. ๐

Good for diy
They fit perfectly and improve the factory audio, but might need to install an amplifier to get the full potential of the speakers.

Buy some pioneers for 20 bucks instead
Good base zero low mid good tweeters. Buy a pioneer instead for 20 bucks at AutoZone. Oh, and they donโt fit had to cut steel.
