Great Fit for the Tony Evans Study Bible
I am loving my Tony Evans Study Bible (but of course that's another review for another time), yet I'm sure I'm not alone in having had to comb through dozens of Bible covers to find one that fit! So I was really glad when I found this one, that not only fit but had some really nice features.Although I had admittedly overdramatic visions of a leather cover that became more weathered with time and with the wisdom I'd be gaining, turns out this super sturdy canvas cover is extremely well made and more than functional. In the back, there's a nice little mesh pocket for whatever you need to see through, in my case those little post-it tabs that I've never purchased before, so it's good to see that I have them because I will forget. Above that there's a taller pocket that you can't see through, so be sure not to put anything in there that you might forget about, like maybe an important church bulletin or the phone number of that lady from church whom you're supposed to call because although the jewelry she sells is really ugly, you feel obligated to make a purchase because she's your best friend's cousin, and your best friend says darn it if you're not going to buy that bracelet. But I digress, the front pockets are a little awkward and here's why: they put the pen storage right underneath where the left side of your Bible is going to sit (picture shared), so if you are going to write in your Bible or highlight anything, you will be doing that right on top of a bunch of bumpy pens. I purchased a small plastic clipboard in the hopes that by clipping that underneath, it would help, but it was still very awkward having those pens underneath. So I moved them all the way over to the left, and lo and behold, even without me being a genius in the field of engineering, the problem was solved. And it turns out the clipboard is great for putting underneath pages when taking notes or underlining/ highlighting passages.I also keep a 6 in ruler there to help me underline things because I do not have a steady hand. And right behind all of those pockets is yet another tall pocket! You have already been warned about putting things in non-mesh tall pockets. Take heed; you can always donate that bracelet and your friendship will remain intact. This is where I like to put those larger lined post-it note things. So far I haven't used any for Bible study (I'm just getting started), but I did make a grocery shopping list. I also got regular sized post-it notes, and I realized that I hadn't purchased an abundance of post-it notes like this since I was an elementary school teacher in the early 2000's. But again, I find myself distracted by post-it notes and I must move on to tell you about yet another pocket. The final pocket on the front, this time with a zipper. This is not the place to put anything church related. You will definitely forget about it once you close that zipper! Invitation to some potluck? Nope. You're not going. You left it in the front of your Bible cover along with the receipt from the last time you filled up your gas tank, the post-it note shopping list you made, your dog's prescription for Prozac for her separation anxiety, that printout Sheila gave you about how to go vegan even though you've told her 865 times that it's just not your thing, and several wrappers from those Starburst candies you eat on the sly. Unless it was your plan to ditch the potluck....The zippers are great. The one on the front, the one that zips around the whole Bible, and the one that I should zip on this review because it's way too long all function really well.It even comes with an attached ribbon bookmark, which is a pleasant little feature indeed.I can't think of any negatives, so I'll just thank you for reading and if this is not the Bible cover for you, I wish you well in your search! And go easy on Sheila. She's just really passionate about the whole vegan thing. :)

Great Bible Bag
Great Bible Bag! High quality construction, for the price, and is perfectly discrete. Also appreciate the carrying handle and built in pockets for storing pens, highlighters and sticky notes.

Perfect for study bible
I have bought 4 over the last few years for everyone in the house. They hold a thick study bible. Great protection. Plenty of room for pens, bulletins, page markers.

Fits my large study Bible with lots of pockets.
This Bible may be too big for many, but for those of you like me who have one of these large study Bibles with lots of notes and such, and who want to also hang onto a bunch of papers, this is a terrific option. It has great organization as well as a quiet zipper. It is durable enough for general use. I see getting at least 5 years out of it.

Not Very Substantial
This is a great Bible case with a well-thought-out design. It comfortably fits my MacArthur Study Bible, Experiencing God Study Bible, or ESV Single-Column Journaling Bible one at a time, with plenty of space to accommodate Bible tabs without issue. I also appreciate the built-in ribbon, which is a nice touch. However, while the overall construction is solid, the quality of materials could be better. The inner pocket materials feel quite thin, raising concerns about long-term durability. The pen pockets are a bit too spacious and would prefer elastic holders though they can accommodate a wide variety of Bible highlighters and pens. If the "clips" on your writing utensils aren't very "grippy" they may slide out of the pen pockets.Despite this, it’s a functional and spacious case that serves its purpose well.
