Gymboss Charge Interval Timer and Stopwatch & Watchstrap - Bundle

I had a gym boss charge for about 8 months and loved it for running/walk intervals. About a week from a race it seemed to get moisture in it and stopped working properly. I was worried all my race plan would need abandoning. I contacted customer service, they were quick to respond, and got me a new timer in time for my race. It would be nice if nothing ever broke, but it’s wonderful these guys have your back if it does.

The perfect gym or workout timer. Easy and intuitive. Working out with weights? As an example works for me) Give yourself 2 seconds per rep, 1st timer. Give the required rest for the second timer. Then do it 4 times for the sets. So, 1st timer 30 sec (15 reps) 2nd timer 1minute 30 seconds rest. 4 sets. You just did 15 dumbell curls 4 sets with 90 seconds rest between sets.Do the same thing running, then walking. Different times different laps. Same thing for HITT. OR treadmill, elliptical etc. Fast and easy to change. Waterproof if running in a light rain or sweat. I wouldn't swim with it.I've used Different wrist timers in using my watch. With this timer there is no need to touch it except to start it. Hint. Dont use the beep in the gym. Be respectful and use the vibration.

I use this for nose work (scent work) trials with my dog. You have a specific amount of time to find the hidden odors. My dog is not a fast searcher and I am not good at judging time, so I really needed this. I set the first interval for the halfway point of the search time. I know then how much time I have left to cover the rest of the search area. I set the second interval with about 5 seconds to spare so I can call finish for the search and not get timed out. I have the beep on the lowest setting but it is the vibrate setting catches my attention. I Like that I don’t have to keep constantly looking at a timer and can focus on my dog. The cost is reasonable too. When I took it off after a trial, the timer fell off the wrist band and I didn’t realize it. Luckily, it was in my car and not in the parking lot where I had been (2.5 hours away). That is the reason for 4 stars.

This works great for teaching intervals in my barre/yoga classes. I don't have to fiddle with a phone or other timer, just press the button and wait the 1 minute until the vibration tells me we're done. It's clunky on my tiny wrist, but I don't care. It works, it's not uncomfortable to wear, and it's super easy to use.

The product I ordered, based upon the advertising photos and description was supposed to include a wrist band. - The product I received was missing the wrist band. It DID NOT include the wrist band. This was one of the primary reasons for purchasing the product. I returned it immediately and will search for a different product that includes a wrist band.

I bought this because I found out the beep was louder. And it's rechargeable. And, this one came with a wrist strap. So, I got it even though I have two battery-powered GymBoss timers. It is louder. But it's also not a cell phone or a GPS watch; so, once you charge it, it'll last forever on that charge even if you use it every day. So, just be careful not to overcharge it. Once it's charged, unplug it and it'll keep charged for weeks if not months of constant use. Enjoy!

In terms of interval timing this device is as advertised and works well. I use it for soccer refereeing. I purposely bought the "charge" model after seeing it dunked in the tank and advertised as waterproof. I have had two different units. Both could not handle being out in the rain. Both clouded up with significant humidity inside the case. If you don't need waterproof, this is an excellent interval timer and a single charge lasts a very long time (all season for me as a referee)

I wear this in the field as a soccer ref so I don’t have to wear my glasses. Takes a little practice getting used to the functions, but very happy with the watch. One charge lasted me all season, 25 games.
