Smart Scale for Body Weight, Body Fat, Water Weight, White, 400 lb

I waited for Prime Days to purchase the scale and received around 25% off. I am finding it very helpful in that I’m working out with weights and on a reduced calorie, high protein weight loss diet at the same time. That can be a confusing place, not knowing if one is losing fat, or water, or muscle or some combination of the three. The scale eliminates all that guesswork. It measures muscle mass and fat in each arm, each leg, and the trunk while also calculating total BMI, total fat, total muscle, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, skeletal mass, water weight, and protein along with metabolic age. It does all that quite well so I rate it at five stars. Otherwise, the phone app is great on IOS, can’t speak to Android. It connected to my phone without any trouble whatsoever. While results are immediately available on the screen on the handheld bar, they are also available as a trend in the app. It also comes with a USB charging cable. It took a long time to fully charge and that didn’t concern me at all because a charge is supposed to last several months. I’m totally pleased with this scale and brand. (I’ve been using their Bluetooth food scale for over a year and highly recommend it as well.)

There was a problem with the scale, but when I contacted Etekcity, they promptly sent a replacement. The new one is working just as it is supposed to and I like it very much. It connects with the app quickly.

I understand these extra body composition numbers may not be perfect like professional medical equipment, but they are still very useful for watching general progress and staying consistent. The scale feels accurate and consistent when used on a flat surface. I like that it gives quick readings without making the process complicated. The app connection was also simple, and once it is set up, it makes tracking much easier than manually writing things down. The design is slim, lightweight, and easy to store in a bathroom or bedroom. It also feels more premium than a basic scale because of the smart features and clean glass finish. Overall, this is a reliable and convenient smart scale for anyone trying to monitor weight, fitness progress, or general health trends at home. It is accurate, easy to use, and gives much more useful information than a regular scale. Five stars!

I am very satisfied with this scale. The design is modern and sleek, and setting it up with the app was quite simple. I like being able to connect it to Wi-Fi and have the data recorded automatically without having to write down every measurement. In addition to weight, it provides a lot of information about body composition, which is very useful for tracking my changes and progress. The display is clear, and the scale feels stable and well-made. I think it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for something more comprehensive than a standard scale. I just received this scale to replace another "smart" scale that just up and died - and it wasn't the batteries! This new Eteckcity scale seems to fully work as advertised. It came with 3 AAA batteries already installed with a thin sheet of plastic breaking the electrical connection, so you're ready to use literally right out of the box. I went ahead and installed the phone software on my Samsung S25 Ultra. Installation was quick and painless and setting up an account just as pain free. I could care less if some Chinese company knows I'm fat. I know it and that's all that matters! The scale paired up quickly and when I weighed myself in the kitchen in socks, it did what it should do which is give me my weight and nothing else since it couldn't make electrical contact with my feet. This morning after my shower I opened up my phone and started the scale program. After waking the scale up by putting some light weight on it, the two connected immediately. The old "smart" scale was extremely finicky about connecting which made the workday mornings annoying. Upon stepping on the scale fully, it quickly settled on a weight and ran the other measurements requiring electrical contact with my feet. The other "smart" scale had all these measurements too but it NEVER worked! I'm still mad at that because it cost more than twice the cost of this scale and it absolutely never did what it was supposed to do. The Etekcity scale is made from a generous piece of tempered glass with the load cells, display, and associated electronics glued to the bottom. It makes for a very light albeit flimsy-feeling device. I only gave the scale a rating of 4/5 because I just got it and time will tell how long it holds up and performs all of its measurement functions. But, if you want what seems like a pretty powerful bathroom scale that is VERY reasonably priced, I don't think you can go wrong! Oh, there is also a setting in the phone program allowing you to disable the measurements requiring the low level current passage. This is for people having pacemakers or are pregnant. By disabling this, you only get weight and BMI measurements. You still get BMI because that is either a calculation or from a lookup table.

I wish I would have bought one of these years ago. It’s very motivating to see the data it brings up, like muscle mass, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, fat-free body weight, etc.. I hate downloading apps for things like this but for being on a weight loss journey, the app is very cool. It connects to the scale via Bluetooth and once you weigh, displays all kinds of data points like those listed above and more. If you’re trying to build muscle and lose fat, like so many of us are, it’s really cool to see the micro gains. Highly recommend.

I had a Fitbit Aria scale for many years. Syncing was always problematic, and it was never consistently accurate. Whenever I used it, I always chose the "best of three" weighings because it showed different readings every time. To make matters worse, once Google bought Fitbit, they killed the Fitbit app and replaced it with the terrible Google Health app. And it wouldn't sync with Apple Health. I decided enough was enough. This Etekcity smart scale has a great app, syncs with Apple Health, and is dead accurate every time. For the first time in years, I can weigh myself multiple times in a row and get the exact same reading every time (which means I no longer have to weight myself multiple times). The app connects to the scale via Bluetooth instead of WiFi (the Aria used WiFi), so the devices need to be connected to each other before the scale readings will sync to the app. That said, the scale remembers weigh-ins that weren't synced and will sync them the next time it connects. If you did multiple weigh-ins in a row, the app offers you all of them and asks which ones to sync. It's really nice to finally have all my Apple Health stats in the same attractive app as my weigh-in readings. I can't believe I waited so long to find a better smart scale. You can't go wrong with the Etekcity scale, especially for the price. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with these smart scales. They look modern and stylish and give you so much more information than a standard set of bathroom scales. As well as body weight, they provide information such as BMI, body water percentage and lots of other measurements, which are all recorded within the app. I really like being able to see everything in one place and track changes over time rather than just focusing on the number on the scales. The app is a great addition and is completely free to use. You can also add multiple people, which makes the scales really useful for the whole household as everyone can keep track of their own measurements and progress separately. They’re simple to set up, easy to use and connect to the app quickly. The scales themselves also look really smart and don’t feel bulky in the bathroom. For the amount of information you get, I think they’re excellent value for money. A great upgrade from ordinary bathroom scales and I would definitely recommend them.

La báscula me pareció muy bonita y elegante, los materiales con los que está construida se ven y sienten de muy buena calidad, después de 1 año y 5 meses de uso (digamos 2-3 veces al mes promedio) no se han cambiado las pilas, y siguen funcionando perfectamente, es muy sencilla en cuanto a su operación, al bajar la aplicación tienes que emparejarla con tu celular la primera vez, luego se conecta muy rápido y sin complicaciones. En cuanto a la aplicación, pues en general todo me parece bien sin embargo hay una cosa que a mi en lo particular no me agradó mucho, y es el color de los textos un verde muy ligero que es difícil de ver para una persona mayor o que utiliza anteojos, en la aplicación hay un apartado para cambiar los colores de la aplicación pero no para el texto, hace poco me llegó un mensaje para que utilizara otra aplicación que ya no tiene ese problema pues los textos ahora son gris oscuro, pero la letra ahora es muy pequeña y la nueva aplicación no tiene ningún ajuste. En fin, creo que la báscula sería mucho mejor si la aplicación fuera mejor diseñada, pero tampoco es tan grande el problema como para no recomendarla, por el precio que pagué es perfecta y muy útil. Me encantó, llevo usándola 4 meses y si me marca las medidas y se conecta muy fácil a la aplicación. Obviamente como cada báscula, tiene sus variaciones en imc pero la he comparado con otras básculas y el peso si lo marca igual. Sin duda no me arrepiento de la compra!

Love the convenience of using this, linkes to phone and uploads values instantly, it looks good and quit light!
