I can tell you that going from no ab exercise to using this for a few days, it works! I'm definitely feeling the work all the way from my thighs to my shoulders. The packaging is a little lackluster, you're given the wheel, the bar, and a grip that you place on after you feed the bar through. It wasn't the most stable once I used it but I expect this may also be due in part to my (lack of) upper body strength. The tread texture on the wheel is nice but does pick up any dirt or dust on the surface where you use it, so you may have to wipe it down from time to time. The grips feel very nice and are easy to hold onto. The rolling motion is smooth as well. There are the vaguest of instructions on the box on how to use the product, but I was able to find some YouTube videos very easily for more detailed instructions. I've been using it the "easy" way since I am definitely a beginner, but there are online tutorials on several different moves for the ab roller.This roller seems very sturdy, and came with an extra padded handle in case one of the two on the bar tears. The bar is a strong metal and holds up to my larger body weight. The wheel moves as smoothly as you'd expect.
