For a cheap Chinese welder, it's pretty damned good.
I bought mine because I needed a welder for my job, and my employers refused to get one though it was needed. Even hooking up to a 25 foot medium duty extension cord, I was able to use it at the highest heat setting, with no problems. I havn't worried about the welds breaking, even with the wire that was provided with it, though the 11 gauge that I had used for my project had broken. I was able to use it for a half hour of continual use, without it shutting down from overuse. The ground lead does come off real easy, and both the ground lead and stinger lead are very short, but doable.

Good welder, terrible directions
First, I don't know the first thing about welding. But everybody has to start somewhere, right? Well, I started here. I got a MIG welder on the advice of some guy on YouTube who said it was easier and more suited to small jobs like I would be doing. So far, so good.I get this unit and try my best to read the directions. However, I quickly realized that my Chingrish skills have gotten rusty, so I tried to enlist my girlfriend to help translate, but see couldn't do much better. I'm not entirely sure what all it was trying to say. But it talked a lot about hooking up CO2 to the unit which I thought was weird for a unit labeled "gasless". So then I had to do all kinds of research into gas vs gasless setups to make sure I got the right unit or if the instructions were just wrong. Two things I learned:1. Do not confuse gas and gasless welding; they are completely different machines and if you try to run a gas welder with no gas you're going to have a bad time.2. This is indeed a gasless welder and the instructions are likely for a completely different unit. It doesn't matter though because they didn't contain any particularly useful information anyway. So off I go back to YouTube to learn how to weld with a gasless wire welder (which isn't called a "MIG" BTW, just to make this listing even more confusing). The instructions also contain no advice on required or recommended PPE, like, oh I dunno, a welding mask, thick-ass leather gloves, and a fire-proof apron. You need these things or you will die. Frickin details man...So I get all the things I need to be able to use this death machine and yet continue sucking air afterwards. The instructions also say nothing about the kind of environment you want to weld in. I wanted to weld in the living room so I could watch my soaps with grandma at the same time. But a YouTube video suggested that this might not be a wise move if I don't want to burn my house down. So I moved my setup into the garage, evacuated any vehicles, put the dog in the house, removed all potential kindling from the garage floor, and left the main door open. Now I could weld. And weld I did. And it was glorious. But I can't help feeling that this whole experience could have been made a lot simpler and less terrifying if I just had one good set of comprehensive directions.

Nice powerful flux core welder.
I purchased this welder several months ago after returning the Titanium 125 from Harbor Freight. Wow what a difference between the two machines. This welder is much more powerful than the 125. I easily to weld 1/8" sheet steel with ease with next to no splatter compared to the Titanium 125. I do have a Forney MP 140 for MIG welding, but this is my go to welder for welding in general. I did upgrade the ground clamp along with the ground cable to 1/0 gauge wire. I couldn't be happier with this welder.
