Magnetic Knife Bar
The knife bar looks really nice on the wall and it was pretty easy to install. The connection between the bar and my knifes is extremely good and I don't have any fears my knives will fall off. The bar is of good quality materials, a solid weight, and was the perfect size for the space I had available. Luckily I only need a small bar that would hold my bread knife and meat cleaver. If I ever need a different size I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this company again.

Strong magnet, easy install, holds seven knives
The media could not be loaded. My wife wanted to get the knife block off the countertop to save some space. I picked this up for her for Christmas and installed it in about 5 minutes (most of that time was spent finding my drill). As stated in the video, the screws were a bit long to side mount on a cabinet, so I replaced them with some #10 x ½" countersink screws I had available.

Strong Magnet, Good Looking, and Easy Installation with a few tools
Good magnet for your kitchen knives. Anyone who complains about it not being able to hold onto their knives either (1) received a different product than the one I received, or (2) are using it incorrectly, i.e. mounting it vertically on the wall and then trying to place their knives horizontally on the bar, then complaining that their knives don't stay in place. If you want to hang your knives horizontally without them rotating/moving, buy something MADE for that! Or buy 2 of these and mount them vertically, 4 or so inches apart! The one I received EASILY holds onto my 8 inch chef's knife. It seems like it would not have a problem with a heavier blade, such as a cleaver, but I don't own anything bigger than my chef's knife, so I can't be sure. One "con" for many people might be that it comes with mounting screws and drywall anchors, but no mounting instructions. For anyone with a bit of DIY experience, this should not be an issue at all. But for those of you that don't, here you go:1. Place the metal plate where you want to install the strip, and mark the center of the holes with a pencil. Be sure you mount it high enough so that your largest knife's handle has room to hang below the strip2. Use a level to be sure your hole marks are horizontal/completely level, before you drill.3. Drill your holes for your drywall anchors; NOT TOO BIG: if you're unsure, start with a smaller hole and work your way into bigger drill bits until it's big enough.4. Gently tap (or screw, depending on the type of anchor) your anchors in until they are flush with the wall.5. Screw the plate onto the wall.6. Attach the main body of the knife strip to the plate (the same magnets that hold your knives in the front also hold the main body of the knife strip to the metal plate on the wall).7. You're DONE!!Don't buy the 10" strip if you want to mount more than 5 knives. If you come back here and give a bad review because the strip was not big enough for all of your knives, then you're placing blame on something/someone else, when the fault is solely your own.

Deserves Five Stars
Easy mounting, good build quality, VERY strong magnets. The silicone surface is perfect. Do not worry about the magnet strength, I have a couple heavy 11oz. knives up there with no problem or sliding. Good product all around.

Doesn't damage my knives!
The silicone cover is great at preventing metal on metal contact with my knives, I wish they made these in white to match my cabinets.

and shears and it felt pretty full. But I needed something under 11 inches ...
Definitely not as big as shown in the picture (unless if u have tiny knives....)I fit a paring knife, chefs knife, and shears and it felt pretty full. But I needed something under 11 inches that would fit along the end of cabinets, and this was perfect.I'm a bit suspect on the construction (you drill in a metal plate, which a heavy duty magnet attaches to. The magnet then is covered with a brushed metal casing), but so far its pretty solid and it doesn't feel like the knives will fall off.My casing came in a bit roughed up (there was a slight indentation on one of the corners) but it isn't noticeable once covering the heavy duty magnet.Overall, it fits perfectly with my kitchen decor. I'm cutting a star out due to its non optimal design ( I would rather have had the magnet somehow hanging on drilled in scews or something like that), but so far I like it.

Dope magnetic remote holder
Mine arrived undamaged. I had an unusual use for this knife holder due to my ADHD thinking outside the box crazy problem solving LOL. I used it to magnetically hang my remotes up on wall. i wanted to clear up some space on my nightstand since it was getting crowded and also wanted to prevent my cats from stepping on the remotes(which they seem to purposely aim for). Magnets was the idea i came up with to b able to pull them on and off wall easier than cup like remote holders while looking fresh. I bought some metal plates that u use on back of phones to mount them to a magnetic car mount. Stuck those on back of my remotes. They were easy to bend or cut with large scissors to make fit if needed. Then installed the magnetic knife holder on wall. That was very easy to do. One side i screwed straight into the wall stud and other side i used anchor to screw it into wall. Very secure doesn’t feel like it will fall down but it does wobble slightly when putting remotes on or taking them off. It’s not the base plate that wobbles but the magnet part. Slightly annoying but not a big deal. I specifically chose this magnetic knife holder bc it had a silicone covering and was black. Would have liked it to b a lil longer more like 14in or 16in but 10in is fine. Seller should think about offering larger sizes in the future. And also other subtle colors like maybe white and gray options. Overall i would definitely recommend this product.
