Son is taking Sociology (SOC 321) this Summer. Instead of purchasing new book at campus bookstore at an exuberant amount of money and rental wasn't much of a discount; discovered Amazon extended a far better offer on previous owned or rentals under $9, plus FREE PRIME DELIVERY. The "Racial and Ethnic Groups" (13th Edition) book is clean and free of annotations. A few pages are dog-eared, but who cares. Thus far, the content is informative and useful for current studies and potentially as future reference. Son is completing university and this book will become part of his library. "Racial and Ethnic Groups" (13th Edition), by Richard T. Schaefer is an easy read with topic glossary at end of each chapter, and full glossary at the end of the book.

I wasn't hip on spending money on a textbook, but being in college, Amazon has great deals on books. I needed this book at the last minute and Amazon had the best price. The book was in good condition and arrived timely. I look on Amazon for a lot of my textbooks and have even downloaded some to my Kindle. The book was actually interesting, too. Thanks!

I took a race and ethnicity class and I would say that this is pretty detailed and the author definitely shares facts and is considerate of each race stated. Definitely worth a read if you're not quite "in the know" of things, which is important to function period.I feel as though we all know "information" but don't know how to properly explain things or just need another outlook, this could really help.

Great book for any ethnography or social justice course work. It functions as a foundation to build upon any critical race/diversity examination

I regret purchasing the KINDLE edition of this book. The book its self is a great book for understanding the concepts of Racial and Ethnic Groups for my Cultural Diversity course. I should have ordered the hard copy and not the e book within kindle. This was my first e book purchase through the kindle app for pc and I do regret it. The reason I gave it two stars was for the convenience. I was in need of the book right away and could not wait for shipping.On my PC the font is hard to read and it does not give options to help this issue as other books off the kindle allow. Also navigating through the chapters and pages of this e book is not as seamless as other books on the kindle.

I have been ordering college books for the past two years and this it the worst yet. Information within text is cut off, page numbers are on inside corners, chapters are not labeled well, no table of contents, graphics poorly organized for black/white print. I would not recommend this book to anyone. Invest money in the electronic version!!!!!!
