The media could not be loaded. I bought these for the colors as i have used Tombow before. I have gotten a little better at calligraphy so I’m better able to control the Tombows now. They have a bigger tip on them so it was harder to learn to use them and now they’re an amazing choice for me since i’ve gotten better. They are on the expensive side though. I think these were $20 for only 10 pens. There are cheaper options out there especially for beginners because the ends will fray if you don’t know what you’re doing yet. I buy a Tombow pack here and there because of how expensive they are but I definitely recommend them!

I'd been watch for a sale/price drop for a while and finally snagged three different sets of these. People who use brush pens regularly seem to regard Tombow brush pens as the best, so I bought a small set to start with to see what they hype was about, and then I watched for a sale on Amazon and bought three more color sets. They are beautiful and a delight to use, but note that there is a learning curve to using brush pens and getting the kind of coverage and blending you want. I didn't buy them for lettering, which is what most folks use them for, I think. I just wanted to doodle and color while watching TV.

My teenage daughter loves these markers. She borrowed some from a friend and was hooked. I have purchased these for the past three years for a stocking stuffer for my daughter. She loves the bold/bright colors and the way they feel when she writes with them. They come in SO many color options. They are her favorite. She has also purchased them as gifts for her friends.

Got this for mixed media class where our teacher had this brand. I also bought the grey scale set. They are fun and great when you dip a bit of water the color starts to feel like watercolor. Vibrant colors. My greens, tans, olives and blues came out fabulous.

You might think these are a bit pricey, but I have had Tombow markers for about 10 years and they still work great! No loss of color. No streaking. I just wanted some more colors.

I am new to brush calligraphy but can’t wait to perfect my techniques so I can use these. This brush hasn’t been the best for learning calligraphy because the tips aren’t super fine. It’s harder to create the look of a fine upstroke with these! But also very easy for beginners who prefer practicing with bigger lettering because you can practice bigger strokes.
