Best-tasting plant protein I've tried — clean, digests easily, and genuinely aids running recovery
At £23 for a 1kg bag, this sits at a higher price point than standard options, but the quality and taste justify the cost. Finding a plant-based powder that actually tastes pleasant and refrains from upsetting your gut can be a challenge, but this Salted Caramel version gets it completely right. What Works Well Superior Flavour & Texture: Easily the tastiest, highest-quality vegan protein I have ever used. It blends smoothly into plain water without leaving any chalky grit or synthetic aftertaste. Easy Digestion: Formulated without unnecessary junk fillers, it sits lightly on the stomach with zero bloating or heavy discomfort afterwards. Noticeable Recovery Benefits: I drink this consistently after runs to support my training. Since using it, I've felt noticeably stronger, noticed improved endurance, enjoyed shorter recovery times, and experienced far fewer niggling injuries—and this powder deserves proper credit for that. Good to Know Higher Price Point: £23 per tub feels steep upfront compared to budget alternatives, but you are paying for clean, high-grade ingredients that actually perform. The Bottom Line An outstanding, premium plant-based protein for anyone taking their fitness and recovery seriously. It mixes easily, tastes fantastic, and treats your stomach well—making the higher price tag thoroughly deserved.

Experiment for best results!
I have been using this protein powder for a month now and I must admit at first I wasn't a fan. Having read the reviews I was sceptical, but decided to give it a try. This is my first time trying protein powder. I was looking for a way to reduce calories but increase daily protein intake without using whey. I followed the instructions on the pack to the letter and found the same as others, it was watery, gritty and quite frankly off putting. Using a protein shake shaker or shaker of any kind does not work! So I experimented with milk instead of water both cows milk and plant based {oat and almond} and I experimented with how I prepared it (hand wisk and powered hand blender). For me the best combination was semi skimmed cows milk using an electric hand blender. I use 200ml of cows milk (instead of 175ml of water) and one scoop of powder and blend with the stick blender using the whisk attachment for 1 minute. It tripples in volume, becomes creamy and the flavour is there to taste. I have found that I have to chug it all or it does become gritty after a few minutes. This just means that breakfast is over and done with in less than 5 minutes. FYI check your pack for a scoop, mine had one but I didn't find it until 2 weeks after opening as it was buried down near the bottom. Easiest way is to check before opening by gently squeezing and feeling for a hard lump. That's the scoop!

Yummy & thick
This protein shake is soo nice, I've been mixing it with unsweetened soy milk & it's sweet, salty, thick & soo creamy. It's really cheap too just don't mix it with fruit or bananas like I did, it was tooth shatteringly sweet ! & I have a massive sweet tooth but even that was too far for me lol drink it plain it's lovely & fills you up.

The worst thing I’ve ever had in my mouth
Was really looking forward to this, the only concerns I had was that it would be “too sweet” like other reviews or it didn’t come with a measuring cup, but I have a big sweet tooth and my own measuring cups so either way I’d be fine. It came today and The bag is half full but most packages are so I let it slide, whatever (also no measuring cup for those wondering). The smell seemed weird but it’s protein powder, it won’t be great. I mix it as per instructions and it mixes really nicely, too much water and it’s very watery, too much powder and it’s like cement, but it’s an easy fix. I taste it and no exaggeration it’s like drinking sand - taste and texture wise. I add some more water to dilute it but it doesn’t change, I empty it out and try milk instead, still sand. I have never cared for reviewing products but as soon as I tasted this I had to. It really just tasted like sand. I want to try other flavours just incase they are better than this but honestly don’t want to waste anymore money on this. If anyone had ideas to make this taste somewhat edible I would appreciate it.

Great tasting and good value protein powder.
I bought this primarily to make ninja creami recipes and it is a very nice tasting great value protein. It mixes well and has a nice taste, not too artificial.

Taste
A tasty protein shake. Very easy to mix. Tastes better made with water than milk or milk and water. But that is to individual taste and I like my shakes half and half but with the plant based ones I prefer them made with water. Would recommend especially if you can't have daisy ones

Artificial tasting
Protein shakes are not a naturally occurring whole food, I get that, so they're always going to taste a little bit synthetic. I tend to find though that the vegan versions taste a little bit less processed and artificial, although unfortunately the same cannot be said for this product. It blends reasonably well with water to create a smooth, if thin, shake. I find I have to add a bit of glucomannan/konjac powder just to thicken it. I haven't tried it with any kind of plant or dairy milk so can't comment on that - maybe it's better, who knows. It tastes.... OK. It's not terribly satisfying or moreish, but it's fine. It has a distinct flavour, although not of salted caramel particularly. If you ever had Angel Delight as a kid, it tastes a bit like the butterscotch flavour of that, but more artificial and slightly salty. You can also use it to create a protein dessert type thing by just adding less liquid and mixing. This has a really pleasing consistency, much like the aforementioned Angel Delight, and it kind of tastes like a blander, more synthetic, salted version of that I guess. Again, it's fine, but not delicious. I've also tried baking with it (to try and use it up, as I'm a bit sick of it as a shake) and the artificial taste again takes over, so not a huge success, but if you like the taste of the powder I guess it works well enough. I do like that this packs a lot of protein for the calories, and I like the fact they offer a flavour other than chocolate, which seems to be the main flavour for the vegan shakes. It does also blend well. Also it's good value when on offer and a bag lasts me a while. Unfortunately I won't be rushing to repurchase this unless I'm out of better options.
