Perfect for people who don’t want to pay for a full review course but need just a bit extra help!
Great review book for the PE exam! This book is awesome because it has a how-to study guide AND three practice exams with super clear and helpful solutions AND an email study guide that shells out a study schedule, homework problems, and priority equations, tables, and figures from the CERM.The study guide has some really helpful tips for studying that help with the actual taking of the exam - many of the tips I hadn't seen or heard before, but definitely are helpful to get the material and brain organized for the test. The author claims she failed miserably the first time taking the test and the second time she felt so confident in the exam that she left knowing that she had passed - the study guide shares exactly what she changed up the second time for studying that helped her pass with flying colors. Hearing a failure-to-passing insider story is definitely a plus, and it seems she really structured this book to follow the methods she used to pass. The practice exams are right on target - not too easy nor too hard. The solutions point you directly to where you need to go in the CERM or other references which is exactly what I needed help with to get organized for the exam.Do yourself a favor and get this book!

The most helpful PE review book I purchased
This was by far the most helpful practice exam book I purchased. When I first started studying for the PE, I felt so overwhelmed by the CERM (Civil Engineering Reference Manual) and was floundering on my study approach. This book gives great guidance on how to study and teaches you how to quickly find information in the CERM. The first practice test book I got was extraordinarily frustrating because it was difficult to find the solution information in my CERM and the explanations were merely a bunch of equations. The solutions in this practice exam book, however, are clear and well explained. The solutions give step-by-step directions and show you where to look in the CERM for needed equations/information. This book also has additional notes to clarify the nuances in each problem or offer test taking advice and strategy. The Civil PE Exam All-In-One Study Guide really set me up for success while taking the PE. The advice on tabbing and annotating your CERM was alone worth the price! I seriously think I would have failed without this book. It really helped guide my studying and enabled me to more effectively use my other practice tests as well. This book really is an all-in-one study guide. Well worth the price!

Fantastic Guide and Practice Exams!
I took these three practice breadth exams during the month leading up the the PE exam. I found them to be extremely helpful! After walking out of the breadth portion of the actual exam, I felt very comfortable with my performance and found these practice problems to be on par with the level of difficulty that I saw. Of all of the practice tests that I had taken (I probably took ten breadth exams) I felt that these breadth practice tests were the most representative of what one will actually see on exam day. I tabbed these tests and even referred to one of the problems during the exam! I passed the January 2021 overflow exam with the help of this guide! This is a MUST ADD item to your study materials!

Well organized solutions, Some errors
Overall, the questions seem to be just slightly more difficult than most of the other practice exams I've taken. The Good: Solutions are well written and provide good tips/references.The Bad: A few of the questions still require the CERM to answer (which won't be available for CBT). There are a few errors in some of the questions/solutions.

Not CBT at all (March 2024)
No idea why this is labeled as CBT. There is straight up no reference to the CBT in the solutions and many of the problems cannot be solved with the equations found in the NCEES Reference Manual. Feels like she just slapped that label on there. Teetering on 2 stars but the problems are ok - bit harder than other practice exams. Its good value for 3 practice tests but I found PE Prepared material to be much more helpful given this is not actually CBT updated.

Fantastic resource for the PE Exam!
This PE exam study review book with practice exams is great! Studying for the PE is generally pretty awful but the lighthearted and educational tone of this book lifted my study spirits. It also reduced the overwhelm associated with the amount of available study material out there and clarified what I actually neededThis book offers practical and concise tips on how to customize study time and material, which is helpful for "bad test takers" like myself. I really liked how the practice exam solutions directly referenced the CERM because that book is gigantic and overwhelming. The practice problems in the exams weren't too hard or too easy, and got to the core of the material.I highly recommend this book!

Informative and useful
Thank you very much Juliene Sinclair, P.E. for great practice exams, study guide and your step by step solutions including the units of each variable and parameters so we could follow along. Thanks for the email reminder on what topic to study, extra problems/reading to hit main conceptual questions that may show up on exam. Also, thanks for the reminder on how to handle those curveball questions, time waster questions, and getting comfortable solving problems under time pressure.Again thanks Juliene.
