So as an avid grill/smoker user, I safely say that these are the best pellets for your Camp Chef grill. I’ve tried the off brands and they don’t seem to hold up as good. They crumble easy and burn much faster which leaves you having to refill your hopper constantly. The flavor those brands delivered was not as great, although I have found a couple that deliver a little flavor, but not quite like these. These pellets really hold up and won’t burn as fast and deliver much better, smokier flavor. They also don't become as ashy so you don’t have to empty your cup as often. They smoke great and are my number one choice anymore for all my smoking and grilling needs. After all the salmon fishing I do and hunting I do, I can attest that I put my smoker and pellets to the test. Amazon has the best prices on these as well. My local sporting or outdoor stores sell them for a few dollars more. Of course with Amazon I may have to wait a few days, but It’s worth it for me. If you own a Camp Chef I highly recommend staying with there brand its worth the money and effort.

These are a great alternative to Recteq pellets, and possible higher quality if not similar quality. I’ve been using them in a Recteq RT-1250. The 4 bags I got initially had an average diameter of 6.8mm with none being longer than 1 inch that I could see, which is excellent for avoiding any thermal bridges. The smell is really nice, the smoke taste of the food is subtle but also very nice. Startup time compared to pit boss pellets is much faster and with less white smoke. Before I began running these I cleaned out the burn chamber and bottom of the smoker and notice less ash production, but also less ash throw out onto the food. The price compared to other pellets is high, especially if you can find high quality pellets in a store, but these are some of the only pellets on US amazon that will ship overseas, so that’s also a plus. I called Recteq for shipping overseas, and was recommended these pellets by the recteq associate. He said these were the pellets he ran in RT-700.
