It works for me, melts well and tastes good but just be aware its not genuine MJ from USA. Having said that if your looking for a good melting cheese this is good. We cut it into 4 and freeze it until needed.

A really good item for the store cupboard. Monterey Jack hardly needs introduction as a pleasing mild cheese good for eating as is or for cooking, the great thing about this two-week is that it is so well packed, not just to arrive but in a good, thick wax jacket so that it lasts for absolutely ages. I am so satisfied with this purchase that I have ordered it again even though I still have a fair bit, because I know it will see me through many weeks of winter. Highly recommended and I hope Amazon will continue to stock it.
